Excellent story, decent narrator.
The story is fantastic, it's gripping and exciting. I have the same problems with the narrator as I had with him in Eragon. I disagree with some of the voices he has chosen, such as that of Murtag being Irish, but have accepted them. The narrator can get pretty cringy though whenever there's heated scenes with screaming or sound effects, especially when he makes Eragon scream nooooo.

Wonderful even with issues
I will simply put on here that this series is one of my favorites, this is my third time listening to it now since my job entails driving.
However, in this book there are small issues with audio where the speaker seems to suddenly stop, the story time continues, and from the book it starts up again a couple of sentances later. one such portion is when Eragon is checking in on Arya after the blood oath celebration via scrying. King Orrin asks for the supply manifest and he gets it, starts to talk about the issues then the audio cuts. It continues again after three seconds. I do believe there were other places the story has done the same thing and the later books do it as well. just wanted to bring it to attention.

A joyful story of overcoming!
Love this "quadrilgy" and look forward to my grandchildren bering old enough to listen. I do tell them a barebones story just to pique their interest. We add to it, they offering possible ideas for the storyline. As a teacher, I LOVE audiobooks, and recommend them to my students.

Another great title
Another amazing book. This series grips at you and I find it hard to not plug in my headphones and listen no matter the task at hand. The narrator does the voices for the characters extremely well although I sometimes chuckle at the voice of saphira
