Nice to find the origins of the different houses.

Learning about plans within plans before Paul makes for a much different reading of Dune.

This book filled in a lot of holes not answered. I really like it you will too.

book was great, performance was great, but DON'T listen to the afterward unless you have previously read the older books that take place after the events of this one.

A Must Read!

This book is very well written and even better narrated. The Atreides will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank yoj to all involved in Dune and beyond!

I got a little lost at first, thinking that the story would continue the time line it was going on. but then I realized that I was hearing the story of atreides. so I just listened.of course Scott brick is fabulous.

Almost as good as Frank...with better pacing

Great job by Brian and Kevin. Engaging, intelligent, suspenseful, with noble characters fighting insidious plots. There's not as much political and philosophical insight, but as a trade-off the pacing makes for much less effort in reading. overall, EXCELLENT.

Awesome intrigue and storytelling

Loved this second book of the house trilogy..well paced and well read with all of the action and drama articulated for each appropriate character

amazing story telling and character creation

this is my first completion of an audiobook. very well written book, very well read. enjoyed the whole audiobook

How vindictive the Baron really is and why he deserved the witch potion.

I liked, How Duncan came to be and to understand who Little Paul’s grandmother really was.

A ENJOYABLE READ

Although Brian Herbert’s and Andersons House Trilogy is not a masterpiece like Frank’s original Dune. House Atreides is a well written book that is very enjoyable to read. It really paints a picture of the Dune Universe and shows you people and places that you never got to see in Franks Dune books.
