good
I am really liking this narrator. The book a good. Not great. I love Pern and I think the writer does a good job making you have feelings towards the characters. There is a lot of discussions that I found myself daydreaming instead of listening. But I'm glad I listened. I will take a break from the story and read something else next.

The Best
Read this 3 part series of the Pern books many years ago and loved it. Always recommended these volumes. I still cried over the heart breaking passings and the joy of young Jaxom finding his Ruth.

Where does Dragonquest: Dragonriders of Pern rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

What other book might you compare Dragonquest: Dragonriders of Pern to and why?
the Pern series, the Tower and the Hive series, the Brainship series. All wonderful reads
Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
yes and he does a marvelous job on all of them
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It actually took me to Pern and I lived the book as with so many of her writings
Any additional comments?
She will be sorely missed and I have been reading and listening to all of her books. If you need to leave Earth for a while, I highly recommend the entire series
