Suki and Eric? who could ask for more...

My favorite Suki Stackhouse novel yet the relationship between Suki and Eric is so sweet I almost wish Eric could stay this way forever

books are short enough to keep me invested

I really enjoy the narrator's emotional telling. The author changed up the story which kept it interesting. Character development is shaky but good enough for short books.

My favorite in the series!

Great character development for many of the characters I love! Also, super sexy! Amnesia Eric for the win!

Entertaining Series

I really love Sookie. These books are great. I've hooked my sister and my best friend on them as well. The reader for this series is very good on most of the books. This series is one that I will reread.

Spellbinding!

As a newcomer to these books after having watched all seven seasons of the TV adaptation, I find myself more and more engrossed in the source book series. This book, so far, has been the greatest. Johanna Parker truly shines as Sookie and it was really refreshing to once again experience the story it was meant to be experienced: through her perspective. I enjoyed what the story had to offer and look forward to reading (or rather hearing) the rest all the way to the end.

Author is a perfect writer

I love Charmaine’s way of writing so much. Her characters are believable, her descriptions are on point and the story is exciting to listen to. Johanna Parker does a wonderful job of narrating. She really brings the book to life. Loved it!

I love Sookie and Eric without his memories is an absolute puppy dog.

the only thing I didn't care for was how slow the narrator reads. I had to listen at almost two times normal speed just to get it to sound normal, but people do talk slower int he south.

Fantastic!!!

Finally book 4 of the series comes out in audio, and it does not disappoint! This is a crucial book in the series, and although I have already read it, it was wonderful to listen to Johanna Parker's performance of it. Listen to the series in order, but do not miss this one!

One of my favorites so far.

Where does Dead to the World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really liked the storyline with the witches and Eric and Sookies relationship. It is one of the best books so far.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book, I like to hear about the "nice" Erik. It is a nice change.

Which character – as performed by Johanna Parker – was your favorite?

Sookie, hands down, but she has a great range for her characters. She always does a great job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh in some parts, but not cry. The only thing I didn't care for was the Ware-panther storyline. I could have lived without that. Not my favorite in the book or the tv show.
