Continues to be a great series

I originally picked up this first book of this series because there seemed to be a lull in my normal authors putting out books. I have to say I was very happy with the storyline and the narrator. Needless to say, after I finished the first book, imagine my delight in finding three more books of the series already on audible.

The books are pretty standard military sci-fi, with the equally standard super-power alien race (in this case robots) and little hope for success. While the story is a bit cliche it is very well told and has its own spins on the classic. Sandra continues to be my least favorite character in the books, I wish she would just get killed off already... but I guess I see her necessity in the story.

Overall a great book in a great series. Worth a listen if you like military sci-fi

Went on binge w/ this very good series.4-4.5 stars on average. I'm catching up on reviews for books #4-11. At this point I'm ready for a break from the series, but will surely return for more. It's hard to make battle after battle interesting for this sort of space sci-fi book, but this series seems more creative than several similar books, and the overall story is good.

the defence of earth, h the losses which occurred

rigs pips have top defend earth... it is another store in the star force story line. I'm hooked so I like it...i wonder what will happen next.

Good 4th book.

Keeps going and keeps you interested. Pretty good overall even if some parts get a bit repetitive re-using some themes from the previous books.

All 5 books in the series so far are very well written and well narrated! Waiting for book 6.

i read the whole series in less than 1 week, i'm still having the fifth one to read.

This book was really good... i really felt that they were losing and so on..... but the main characters did make several mistakes that i thought of before the mistakes were displayed.

anyways, the book was good and hopefully the fifth one will be better......

but still i feel like john ringo's troy rising is better. :)

I held out for a while on buying this series , but it keep coming back in my mine about the plot from book one. It was something new with a twist and finally I purchase book one and have been panicked for the next one! As my title says, it is a easy winner with all the curves and bumps most need in life to enjoy a good time. Giving just enough to keep you wanting for more and working on the second mind of pleasures most of use to enjoy.

At times things repetitive in wiriting styles but overall a solid addition to the series
