Publisher's summary

Terry Goodkind's bestselling, epic fantasy series Sword of Truth continues with Confessor.

Descending into darkness, about to be overwhelmed by evil, those people still free are powerless to stop the coming dawn of a savage new world, while Richard faces the guilt of knowing that he must let it happen. Alone, he must bear the weight of a sin he dare not confess to the one person he loves…and has lost.

Join Richard and Kahlan in the concluding novel of one of the most remarkable and memorable journeys ever written. It started with one rule, and will end with the rule of all rules, the rule unwritten, the rule unspoken since the dawn of history.

When next the sun rises, the world will be forever changed.

Epic edge: listen to more in the Chainfire Trilogy and the Sword of Truth series.

Satisfying conclusion

This book is exciting and satisfying as the adventure is concluded. Excellent narration makes for a good listen and you'll be cringing and crying and laughing at Ja'La dh Jin.

Enjoyable Twists and Turns

I enjoy how the contrast between good and evil is portrayed. The amount of strength and intelligence the women exhibit is rewarding for me as well.

It's about time!

I have been waiting it seems forever for the conclusion of this saga. Goodkind does not disappoint. Although very, very "talky" this conclusion to the adventures of Richard and Kahlen ties up almost all of the loose threads and hands it to the listener/reader. The dramatist who reads the book does quite well.

Abrupt ending

This is the final end to the conflict with the Empirical Order. It just seemed too pat and sudden.
I did love how the author worked in characters and events from the whole series.

This is the Sword of TRUTH book you've waited on!

The astounding conclusion to not only the ChainFire trilogy but the Dramatic Conclusion to the Sword of Truth series. All of your favorite characters return for a life and death battle VS Jagang and the Imperial Order.
Richard and Kaylahn journey Started in Wizards first Rule ans the Terry Goodkind finally uses ever bit of information we have been given through this series. a conclusion that while from start to finish is an edge of your seat heart pound. The ending is as breath taking as watching an entire generational saga come to a fantastic close. Shock and Awe, love and despair, triumph and failure woven in to the final conclusion of the Seeker, the Confessor, First Wizard and the Creator all crash into the pages. ENJOY!
