Publisher's summary

Terry Goodkind's bestselling, epic fantasy series Sword of Truth continues with Confessor.

Descending into darkness, about to be overwhelmed by evil, those people still free are powerless to stop the coming dawn of a savage new world, while Richard faces the guilt of knowing that he must let it happen. Alone, he must bear the weight of a sin he dare not confess to the one person he loves…and has lost.

Join Richard and Kahlan in the concluding novel of one of the most remarkable and memorable journeys ever written. It started with one rule, and will end with the rule of all rules, the rule unwritten, the rule unspoken since the dawn of history.

When next the sun rises, the world will be forever changed.

Epic edge: listen to more in the Chainfire Trilogy and the Sword of Truth series.

I loved it!!!!

Every time I listen to each book within the sword of truth series, it felt like I was actually there. Goodkind's word wrapped me up in the word of the Westlands, Midlands, Duhara, and every place he gave a description. I felt as the characters felt. I cried when the characters cried; Laughed when the characters laughed. This book was like the Disney ending -you can imagine the ending music and lighting happen as they live their happily ever after. The theme of the story though is thought provoking and causes some kind of self reflection of the sort. I truly enjoyed wordsmithing.

Amazing performance!!!!

Sam Tsoutsouvas is amazing! He gives each character personality and depth. The story unfortunately is not as good as the previous installments but worth it to finish out the series. There are a few parts where Terry is long winded and has Richard up on a soap box at the very end, akin to Ann Rand style, but the overall story is decent and an adequate finish to the sword of truth series.

great book

I thoroughly enjoy Terry Goodkind's work. This is no exception. as I have said in previous reviews, if you have made it this far in the series, you already have a pretty good idea of what is to come. This was an excellent end to not only the trilogy but also the series in general.
