kind of disappointed

It's clear that the author is running out of ideas. if I could I would ask for my money back.

Great book cant wait for the next one

Would you listen to Battle Station again? Why?

Yes it was a great book; it gives you some background on the blues, macros etc..

What about Mark Boyett’s performance did you like?

He brings you into the story and plays each character wonderfully. I went and found another book read by him which was the Marbury Lens, great performance as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I had enough time I would have listen to it all at once however I listen to it in parts when driving I couldn't wait until the next time I drove.

Any additional comments?

I cant wait until the next book

Strongest book of the series so far!

This is by far - the most interesting book of the series so far. Lots of action, new worlds, new creatures and so on. The narrator is outstanding as usual.

Non-stop Sci-Fi Action

If you are looking for sci-fi that is fast-paced, fun, and incredibly interesting, I'd recommend the Star Force series for you. The author has carefully crafted a military sci-fi universe where new discoveries and surprises await, leaving the reader astonished at the depth of B.V. Larson's imagination.

Most sci-fi series that I have read have at least one book where things do not click, or the plot seems forced, or difficult to believe. In contrast, every book of this series is strong, and I keep thinking that the best one is the book I just finished.

Mark Boyett, the narrator, is quite amazing as he seamlessly switches his accent from one member of an international team to another to yet another. It adds an extra dimension of enjoyment over the text version of the books.

Classic BV Larson

What did you love best about Battle Station?

I enjoyed the continuation of what has become an interesting story with an interesting protagonist. If you liked the first four Star Force books, you won't be disappointed.

What did you like best about this story?

The plot twist that comes in Book 5.

Which character – as performed by Mark Boyett – was your favorite?

Riggs, of course, but Marvin runs a close second.

Any additional comments?

I will be continuing onto the next books.

A great wrap-up

Although Earth will end up without him, the future for the people of Earth are much safer because of a computer nerd. Great story and I'm looking forward to more of B.V. Larsons future books. These were hard to put down!

Went on binge w/ this very good series.4-4.5 stars

Went on binge w/ this very good series.4-4.5 stars on average. I'm catching up on reviews for books #4-11. At this point I'm ready for a break from the series, but will surely return for more. It's hard to make battle after battle interesting for this sort of space sci-fi book, but this series seems more creative than several similar books, and the overall story is good.

Great series, terrible love interests.

Any additional comments?

I lament that the remaining books in the series have already been authored and I can have no effect upon the structure of these additional stories with this review. I love these books. But I hate the love interest. I find my self skipping these scenes now. Sandra is annoying and unnecessary and the sex scenes are tacked on hap-haphazardly.
