nicely done, enjoyed the entire series. will listen to it again when I am in-between credits and want to share the adventures of a group of strong female characters.
Loved it, title fits perfect. Each book kept me wanting to know more about every character.. and believing in the supernatural world of werewolf s. witches. vampires and special powers.
I am an audio book junkie! ! In my real life I am an ER RN and Mom to a teenage son.
This, the last of 3 books, was excellent! All 3 books in this series were entertaining, attention hokding and easy to "read".
I am bummed that there are no more books to read!
Be warned: there may be spoilers. This is also a review of the entire series.
The overall work is good. I like the voice and I like the plot.
However, there are major inconsistencies and I wish the editor had addressed them. Such as people being given powers or protection one minute only to have the item or ability disappear without mention. Only to later have the character "discover" an ability later "for the first time". There are also a lot of unnecessary rabbit trails that occur that detract from the overall plot arc that should have either been fleshed out or removed. Characters were also brought in and then abandoned. It seemed like the author wanted to cover a lot of ideas without really knowing how, and her editor let her.
Had this been better edited I would have considered a 5 star review and been able to give more on the actual plot.
All in all though, it was a good way to pass a long road trip.
