Publisher's summary

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • For fans of Release Me comes a series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.

Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.

My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.

And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.

Wanted is intended for mature audiences.

worth a credit

If you like the Stark Series, you will like this novel. It has the hot sex, blooming love and an interesting twist that gives the novel just enough uniqueness. Enjoy! I have already bought the other two!

hoping for more...

What did you like best about Wanted? What did you like least?

If this had been the first J Kenner book I read I am sure I would have liked it better, however, given I had already read the Damian Stark series I felt like Wanted was basically a re-write of Damien and Nikki's story with slight variations. It seemed like Julie Kenner was following a formula that was condensed given this book was to be a stand alone story instead of a series..although they will be in the subsequent bookes, but the love story will focus on the other men not Evan. There was was little to no character development.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

disappointing and predictable.

Any additional comments?

Julie Kenner needs to slow down and worry about remaining creative and true to her characters not pumping out books to make money.

Good book

What made the experience of listening to Wanted the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed the other books by this author and was excited to hear this book. I really enjoyed it but just laugh each time I hear the voice of the character Evan.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Saffron Martindale?

I enjoyed her narration but her voice of Evan wasn't mascaline. It was more like a gremlin or some type of cartoon caracter. The other guy voices where fine just Evans.

Very Disapointed

I am a fan of J Kenner but I had to listen to the first chapters a couple times to understand what was going on and after an hour into the book I finally give up. I cannot connect to this book at all. I feel like the book is all over the place.

Boring

I was extremely bored during this book; it just couldn't hold my attention. It seemed repetitive, with no real story line. I didn't feel the chemistry between Evan and Angela. The narrator's lisp is a bit annoying as well. Sometimes the lisp isn't there, and then it slips in. "So much" becomes "so muth." However, this would not have been a deal breaker if the book had been enjoyable.

It was just okay..

There was so much more potential this book could have presented. Storyline seemed very rushed and it didn't get into enough character development for it to be book one of a series. I don't think I will be reading the other two. This is surprising because I have read other books by J. Kenner that I listen to over and over. I am still a fan just not of this series.

All Kinds of Wrong

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It had potential to be good, the story line was differ and intresting but it didn't live up to the build up.

Any additional comments?

I really wanted to like this but the narrator or the book it's self just didnt do it for me. I wouldn't waste my credit on this one if I was you.

Horrible!!! Dont waste your time or money.

This story is awful, the narration is worse. I couldn't finish the book. I will never buy another book by this author.

Just Get On With It Already...!

What disappointed you about Wanted?

It just didn't captivate me... I was looking for a book I couldn't put down and found myself only listening to the story when I had nothing better to do. The story dragged on.

What could J. Kenner have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The story needs a little more flavor. It was predictable and bland.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Saffron Martindale?

I don't know. The narrator was ok. Not much that could have been done to keep me interested in the story.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not really. I've ready (and listened) to a hundred books just like this one.
