Yes, I love this character. Everytime he says, "mine!" I wanted to hug him ;o)

What did you like best about this story?

First ... when Tammy's rendered speachless and can't move as he towers over her roaring ... when Tammy knocks him out with the lamp ... when he goes and gets her ... when he afraid he'll never find her ... you name it! Valiant and Justice were my two favorite New Species books. I love the others, but Valiant won me over!

I read/listened to the entire NS series in order, but it was Brawn's cover that won me over ;o) Fury, Slade, Valiant, Justice, Brawn, Wrath, Tiger, Obsidian, Shadow, Moon, and now True (the newest on my Kindle), and the NS family are great characters. I find myself looking forward to the next book (or now audio). I like the audio's because I can clean the house, cook, knit, sew or make jewelry all while listening. Thanks for putting Laurann Dohner on audio.

I have lost my mind over this series ; )

Warning! Highly addictive book series I can't stop listening . This author is very talented and keeps you coming back for more with the sexy characters and the very steamy sex scenes, and oh there's a lot of action too. You fall in love with these characters.

Such a good series!

This series gets better with each book. Such an engrossing and unique story line like nothing I've ever read or listened to. Enjoying following the development of the characters. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a unique plot!

Honestly, Why is Tammy such a moron?

*spoilers* I mean...Tammy gets caught in the beginning by hostile human thugs...I feel like when that happens...seems reasonable to be more cautious moving forward....tammy basically acts like nothing ever happened to her and she takes chances that a person who actually went through the trauma she did, would not. When she gets taken a second time, it was difficult to feel sorry for her. I love this series and this book was enjoyable, but I just felt that the trauma she went through would ensure that she maintained some level of suspicion towards strangers...ESPECIALLY given that her best friend warned her about the danger @ her grandmother’s house when rumors had circulated that she merely slept w valiant. This level of stupidity just really made me annoyed. That’s my only issue. The narrator was excellent & the series IS worth listening to! It’s excellent so far...this was the 1st instance that I felt was not reasonable. A trauma such as Tammy experienced 1st would leave scars that she did not seem to have. Her actions and mindset did not change afterward and that just made no sense.

Just wow!

This is such a brilliant series! It is heartbreaking, funny and the suspense unrelenting. All this goodness is topped off by the hottest sex ever. Vanessa Chambers again did a wonderful job in bringing the story to life with her narrating skills. For me it is worth every penny!

loved it. could not get away had to keep listening. it definitely had a way of keeping you interested. very well written.
