Gotta love a man who can purrrrr.

This is a good series, I enjoy the romance, the humor and the action. The only slight down point, is the hero and heroine fall in love just a little too quick, and that is for all of the books in the series so far. It is also hard to believe there are that many bad guys in the world and they all have one thing on their minds. But beyond that this is a great book and I will be reading more from LD, I look forward to more New Species men finding themselves some women. I was glad to see that Trisha and Slade have their baby. Narrator is good.

I really like Valiant. He is one of my favorite species.

What did you like best about this story?

He goes for it but he also cares a great deal. The flow of the story is very good and kept me interested. The characters are very interesting. I like how Laurann keeps the previous characters in the story so that we feel there is a progression from one book to the next. Having read Book 4 and 5 already, Justice is my favorite, then Brawn and then Valiant as species characters. But wait...Wrath seems good. Keep reading these stories!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could have in maybe three.

I would recommend that folks stick with the series. These stories are really good, though some will be better than others of course. I can't wait to ready the next one.

Valiant was not my favorite of the series. The first half of the book seemed to move slow and took a while for the story to develop.

What can I say? Love at first listening!

I just LOVE this series! This is what I choose to listen to every time I need to escape the world for a little while. A little suspense, a lot of sizzle, hot alpha males, spunky females combined with a really good narrator makes for a really awesome listen.

Love the narrator! Was a great story! The only thing sad is coming to the end of listening to all of Laurann dohner books! I hope she keeps up the great Writing on species!

Getting Better and Better

This series is getting better with each book. The characters are developing and the story is getting more twists and turns. I was excited to listen to Valiant's story as he was gruff and all alpha. I loved Tammy's smartass personality. I also liked how the author brings back storylines from the previous books so you can find out what happens. I am going to continue reading Justice’s story because there is just a lot of potential for things to happen. I would recommend this series. Is it one of my favourites? I would say it is very enjoyable and a solid listen but I would not necessarily rank it as amazing. However, you will not be disappointed.

Sex book

Don’t get me wrong I like a ton of sex, but this book was held together with paper clips and orgasms. There was no plot. Tammy was a fun heroine and Valiant was a hot, likeable, beast of a hero, but they didn’t do much together except screw. Of course there were the obligatory kidnappings by the New Species haters, and some follow up to book 2 (Slade and Trisha’s story) but overall this was kinda boring.
