In this sizzling continuation of the Mastered series by New York Times best-selling author Lorelei James, a man will find the domination he's always craved....
Shiori Hirano and Knox Lofgren are left to run the martial arts program at Black Arts while Ronin Black travels. On the surface, the two highest ranked belts appear to cooperate--but in private, they butt heads constantly despite the undeniable attraction between them. Soon their power exchanges start to make for a sweltering dynamic in the bedroom....
At first Knox is shocked to be living out his submissive desires, but Shiori sets out to prove that embracing his true sexual nature doesn't make him a weak man. But even while their sexual relationship grants him a power and fulfillment he finds surprising, there's no training regimen for the fight that comes with loving a strong woman....

Will do anything for books!
Shiori is a Domme which makes Knox a submissive...WOWZA! I didn't think it would matter, but honestly it did. I hate that this sounds sexist because I'm not, but I LOVE a great Alpha male! Their arrangement was supposed to be that she was in charge in the bedroom but he was everywhere else. She never respected that. They were together, which was good, but there was so much back and forth with the relationship and confused or blurred lines I found it frustrating. The writing in and of itself was good, just wasn't the story for me.
I loved this story! Super hot sex--like epically hot, and if Knox wasn't on your radar previously, you will LOVE him now--I sure do!
I wasn't as much of a fan of the male narrator, but he didn't ruin the story. Other than this, the book was great! Shiori and Knox are almost as awesome as Ronin and Amerie. There's a few new characters and some support players from the preceding stories that come to the forefront in UNRAVELED and I am giddy with anticipation for what's to come! This is definitely credit worthy, and worth every penny.
This is my first time reading a dominant submissive role reversal where the man is submissive. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it and afraid that the story and characters would be butchered. But from start to finish Lorelei James captures everything amazing perfectly as usual. I as usual fell in love with the two main characters in the first to bound stories. And even deeper in love with this storyline. I say if you love Lorelei's stories like I do and are willing to experience something different then give this one a try I am a champion of this book and of this writer.
I enjoyed this book actually more than the first three books in this series, but they are all good. Hardcore Knox is really a kitten down deep inside and the hard Shiori has a soft side and a sad side. We find out a lot about both of them in this story. There are also hints of future couples, we know Molly and Deacon will be the featured couple in the next and hopefully NOT the final book of the series.
I enjoyed having two narrators in my first listen, I did prefer the male to the female, but now that I'm listening again, I like her just as well. I don't want to give any secrets away, but there is a surprise towards the end of the book for those of us who enjoy other series Ms. James writes. I loved every minute of this sweet, sexy and hot story.
Mom, and caregiver. Variety in my music and book libraries. I love a good romance or mystery. In order to be worth my time and money
Shiori is a very real and likeable character in this book. She grew much more multidimensional
It was very delineated when switching POV. Since that is my primary difficulty/issue with multiple POV books this was very well done.
Wish I was in that world... Miss my cuffs....
Love this book just as much as the
three before. Made me laugh, made me cry, made me sweat. Haha good one Lorelei!! Hope there's more books to this series. Loved all the characters!!
Wow. I didn't see that spin coming in book one or two. You knew these two would get together - there was too much love / hate sparking going on. I didn't expect this spin, but it worked.
A mother, wife, sister and good friend who enjoys the simple things in life. Country music is my preference and the beach is my escape (other then my books). LOL!
Narrator was great but this particular story wasn't my favorite from the series. But still good just not great
The role reversal.
They were very good.
Knowing the subject matter....no, I would not. It was hard enough reading it.
i thought the female lead came off as just plain mean at times. At the end of the book I was left wondering how that baby girl was going to be raised.
