Publisher's summary

Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She's a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend's brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together. Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her. But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life? For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal. Will their love prove to be unbreakable, or will it shatter and prove fate is just another lie?

"Infragilis"

Beautiful story and awesome narration!
First off I want to say that I am disappointed with the bad reviews I saw on this. DON'T listen to those. It's like they didn't hear the story.
Wonderful characters in this story! A tragic occurrence happens and I can empathize with the heroine and her choice. Can't wait to read next in series!

Undecided

85% of the book wasn't about Gabe and jeses love story. it was more about her and Landon friendship... While I get the reason for most of the book being about her finding herself and getting back to Gabe it was really irritating for the majority of the story to be about Landon

Too explicit, had to stop listening

What disappointed you about Unbreakable?

Just not my type of book. There should be a category for explicit content marked.

What was most disappointing about Rebecca Shea’s story?

The Explicit sex.

Missed connection and useless details

The story kind of seemed choppy with a lot of details that had no real importance to the story. There was not enough preference to who Gabe and Jess were as characters and what forged their bond. I think that some of those details were there to make a connection to who the characters are but the story didn't seem to flow. I wonder if the editing created useless scenes and details that made the book drag instead of building the storyline. I will also say that Gabe came off to me as a sappy lovesick guy where Landon seems to have more depth I think that writer did a better job of character building with him. Which makes me more excited about the second book but than this one. If you are a serial Audible listener (Romance package) like me I would recommend it.

Thought Provoking

What did you love best about Unbreakable?

The depth of feelings that Gabe has for Jess. It was deep, sincere and true. Hard to get that from a young man these days.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Unbreakable?

Gabe's reaction to Jess forgetting to take her birth control pills. Cool, calm and collected. He was non judgmental.

What about Amy Landon and Zach Villa ’s performance did you like?

I love both performances.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

I don't like the fact that Jess took up with another man when she got to N Carolina. What was that?

Great Story and Narration!!!

a light read with the right amount of love and angst.

The story of Jessica, a Heroine who was beautiful, nice and had a very lonely past.. She has the love of the Garcia family, a family that took her in and embrace her with love, and guidance. not only the whole family welcomed her, but there was also someone who didn't stand a chance, her beauty and charm will change his life forever rewriting everything he ever planned.

They fought very hard not to fall in love, they thought it was wrong but their feelings were very strong and nothing will stop them to finally act on what they had been feeling for so long..

Gabe was a very handsome gentleman who lost all battles when it came to Jessica, he didn't saw it coming but he fell hard for the new member of the family. he wanted to be a firefighter, he wanted to give her everything she ever dreams of and he won't stop until he accomplishes this.

Some harsh situations test their love, threatening to break them forever apart but nothing and no one was ready for their love and emotions, they were stronger than any harshness or test life was bringing to them..

the narrations by Amy Landon and Zach Villa were awesome, I enjoy so much how they took us on a rollercoaster of emotions and made the characters deeper and more enjoyable.. really love their work.

overall I enjoyed the story and the characters a lot. it was a good listen.

Young love

Though I enjoyed listening to this story (great narrative), I would not recommend it for a Senior, like me. Although, I teared up in a few scenes.

I would recommend this for a twenty-something female who may have been assaulted or for any young woman who likes to run alone in the park.

I do not plan on finishing the trilogy. Can’t wait to re-enter my world of historic fiction or the classics.

Such a good read!

I loved the narrators for this book and I ADORED Gabe and Jessica! I was lost in their journey and my heart ached for them. Their love was palpable through Rebecca’s words and I wanted to wallow in their story! Great read and I highly recommend!
