Would you listen to Twice Tempted again? Why?

You bet I would and have already started. It's a wonderfully written, performed and thought out story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twice Tempted?

Without spoiling it, one of the most memorable moments of this book had to do with Marty and Leila. Throughout this book, the ebb/flow of emotions from all the characters is done with such finesse and thoughtfulness, it is hard to single out moments beyond the ones that are too too obvious.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many this time, it's hard to pick one. I won't pick the obvious but I LOVED the scene where Leila decided to touch all the weapons to prove to VLAD that she loved who he was/is. She hemorrhaged and the rest is history.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Just as with Once Burned, I have had this book in my ears at every opportunity.

Ms. Gilbert outdid herself on this one. She was magnificent as VLAD, Leila, Marty, Gretchen (I LOVED her as Gretchen--had some of THE best lines), Maximus, Cynthiana, and Mr. Dalton. I would listen to Ms Gilbert read a law book.

I love these books, they have the perfect amount of drama, comedy and romance, I find myself lol

5 STARS - 5 WORDS - YOU JUST WON'T FIND BETTER

Well it's all been said before so all I can do is join my fellow reviewers in saying this is a fantastic unmissable vampire series written by a very talented author who, as usual, fills each of her characters with such great personalities that range from quirky, funny, sexy, evil, likeable and downright loveable. Then she creates and adds them to thrilling plots that have sub plots, passion, humour, sex, intrigue, romance and some "Wow, I didn't see that coming" moments.

Couple all that with the gifted narration of Tavia Gilbert who breathes life into every character then she gives each situation just the right amount of feeling whether it's excitement, anxiety, passion or grief. She shows what a big difference a good narrator makes to a book and highlights the perfect synergy that can be obtained between the two to make it a truly enjoyable and pleasurable listen.

Worth a credit? Anything in this genre written by JF is an automatic download for me, - so that wouldn't just be a YES (and.... shhh don't tell Audible) but I would have happily used 2 credits.

Great sequel! LOVED IT!!!

Wow... JUst WOOW! Frost is such a great writer, so funny... This is the sequel to Once Burned..which I just loved... and this did not fall short at all.

At the end of Once Burned, Leila lost her powers and she thought Vald would not love her anymore. So I was really nervous about this book... So Vald said he would make Leila a vamp, but he didn't ask Leila to marry him, so she left him...

Just great right! I can't believe she left VALD! But she did, and Maximus from book 1 sets his sights on Leila... Maximus even lies to Vald to keep Leila to himself... OMG...when Vald finally catches up to Maximus and Leila, after thinking Leila was dead.... BOY O BOY!

Best part of this book is when Leila and his group of friends and sister, goes out for a girls night and BAMMMM all hell breaks loose when Leila find out who the traditor is... Vald was so pissed that he had to save Leila, but boy the smex scene after that! I am still blushing....

Best Sequel ever... I am so getting the Hunter books now... Which is the series before this one...

Narration was great.. Gilbert did an awesome job of Vald, Leila and Maximus...

Worth the Wait

Would you consider the audio edition of Twice Tempted to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the story in print; but the audio version was excellent Tavia Gilbert did an awesome job.

Twice Tempted was well worth the wait. Ms. Frost did not let her readers down. I am very excited to see what will happen in the next book. Hopefully the wait won't be to long.

Yes, I love Vlad's arrogant voice.

I just really love how she does Vlad's voice

I think I like Vlad's series better then the night huntress. It does end abruptly like the first book and it leaves you wanting more....just gotta wait :-P

Fast pace and intense

This book was so good. Even though it was action right out of the gate and didn't stop. At times I felt like I needed to catch my breath because the pace of the book was just so fast. It was non-stop.

Don't get me wrong, this book was fantastic! At times I felt like I wanted to reach into the story and shake some sense in to Vlad.

This story will leave you breathless and wanting more. The narrator did a great job reading the story. She got way into the sex scenes though and was in my opinion way too involved in them for my liking. Other than that the narrator was great as was the story line.

My favorite Jeaniene Frost book

Jeanine Front books are my guilty pleasure. I love the fantasy, strong males and complete escapism. I might be in the minority but I prefer the Night Prince series over the Night Huntress series and mainly because Leila is more likeable than Cat.

As with all Jeanine Frost novels, it is not a nice and sweet world but one of betrayal and violence. She does ground the story by keeping the relationship or love between the characters as an absolute.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys modern fantasy, Vamps, magic and wants to escape reality for a few hours.

Vlad and Leila are meant to be!

I loved how strong Leila has become and I am glad she set her foot down and held out for what she deserved....

Vlad...he is quite the character.....lol

Yes! awesome as always, she is one of my most favorite narrators...she is pitch perfect every time!!

I like the way the ending left it open for book 3, Vlad and Leila are a great team...i can not wait to hear more about them!! Now Jeaniene needs to give us more Cat and Bones!!! lol Great story!! 2 thumbs up!
