Publisher's summary

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side... and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

Interesting way to listen

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Kat’s voice at times she always felt rushed in speaking, even when she wasn’t supposed to. Everyone else did really well and it makes me want to listen to the second book.

Amazing!

This is my first time listening to a Graphic Audio book and I’m blown away. The voice narrators were incredible in their roles.

What a blast!

College student Cat is a half-breed: half human, half vampire; the result of an attack on her mother years ago which led to Cat's birth. Cat is on a mission to kill as many vampires as possible to avenge her mother's rape, and goes hunting regularly with surprising success. This leads her to cross paths with Bones, a bounty hunting vampire who targets criminal vampires and who initially thinks someone must have sent Cat to kill him. They begin to hunt each other before realizing they might actually make a good team.

Was the story over the top at times? Yes.
Was it also hilarious? Yes! OMG I burst out laughing more times than I can count.
Is the Dramatized Adaptation incredible to listen to? Why yes, yes it is. The voice actors do a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life. I absolutely loved it!

This is pure escapism and oh so enjoyable. I've already downloaded the next two in the series.

Fabulous full cast performance

I own this book in Kindle and regular audiobook format and have read it many times. It is one of my favorite books. It was a peak experience having the opportunity to listen to this GraphicAudio performance. The main two voice artists did a fabulous job with Cat and Bones. I can't wait to experience the rest of this series as audio dramas from GA.

Great

This is my first dramatized adaptation of a book I read years ago. I enjoyed it. Bones voice is lovely. He was basically my reason for buying this version.
The background music was a bit annoying at tines and the romance was a bit cheesy, but otherwise I thought the performance was very good.

I love Graphic Audio!

I listened to all of the non dramatized audio books in this series and enjoyed them all. I'm also a big fan of Graphic Audio going back to the days when I would pick up the CDs at truck stops on the road. Once GA has dramatized them, I'm going to buy the whole series again!!

Good Adaptation

Good performance and a great story! This is a new series for me. I bought the second book in the series when I was barely done with chapter one of this one.

Fantastic! Almost like an entirely new book.

Different character voices combined with the sound effects made the listening experience thrilling and anticipatory. Bones truly needed a sexy male voice (sorry Tavia) and both the new release male narrators nailed his magnetism. Loved it. Look forward to the rest of the series in the graphic adaptation.
