Publisher's summary

Before his trade became his name, "Tracker" Ochoa was a scrawny Mestizo runaway. Now as fearsome as he once was frightened, he's joined the notorious Hell's Eight, and they have a job for him: he must rescue kidnapped heiress Ari Blake and deliver her safely to the Hell's Eight compound by any means necessary. Turns out that includes marrying her, if he means to escort her and her infant daughter across the Texas Territory.

Tracker hadn't bargained on a wife - especially such a fair, blue-eyed beauty. But the erotic pleasures of the marriage bed more than make up for the surprise.

Tracker's well-muscled bronze skin and dark, dangerous eyes are far more exciting than any of Ari's former debutante dreams. In the light of day, though, his deep scars and brooding intensity terrify her. But he's her husband and she's at his mercy. With the frontier against them and mercenary bandits at their heels, Ari fears she'll never feel safe again.

Tracker, too, remembers what fear feels like. Though he burns to protect Ari, to keep her for himself always, he knows that money, history - and especially the truth - can tear them apart.

Very relieved, great book!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Tracker and Shadow. I could relate to Shadow and the way he felt when Ari came into Tracker's life.

Have you listened to any of Isabelle Gordon’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They made a mistake with the narraton. Gabra Zachman actually is the narrator, and she is awesome. The Texas accents aren't overdone. She can do books like these, as well as sci fi and mysteries.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did a little of both, yes. I have been looking forward to reading this book, or listening to it, since we found out about Desi. I was a bit scared to after the horrible experience with Tucker's book. "Thee art lying" indeed... But I am glad I got it.

sarah mccarty does it again

Where does Tracker's Sin rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

in the fourth installment of the hell's eight mccarty once again delivers a scorching western tale with enough humor and sex mixed in to make the story both believable, and enjoyable. im waiting with baited breath for the next installment as well as the rest of the series. in the same vein as tabor evan's longarm series an adult western for all fans of this genre. i rate this submission 4 out of five stars.

Who was your favorite character and why?

tracker as in the previous submissions the protagonist is my favorite character because he is well rounded and straight to business.

Which character ??? as performed by Isabelle Gordon ??? was your favorite?

the protagonist (see above)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

mccarty has a way of combining humor and ruthless western action in her books which make them a joy to listen to.

MY FAVORITE!!!!!!!!! Of the series that is!!!!

I've listened to the whole audio series in order and this was by far my favorite of the five written and recorded to date. Since I've listened to the whole series in just a few days I've noticed some inconsistencies between the books, which I found a bit distracting. I am looking forward to the remaining books.

Tracker's Sin is by far the best in the series. The narrator was fabulous and the story was very good and quite believable. I'll take Tracker any day of the week.

Strongly recommend this book.

Too much anal sex

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Story line was good but half of the book was all sex in every fashion imaginable and too much anal sex

loved it

Each of the Hell's 8 men have different backgrounds and thus different ways that they approach their woman romantically. Given Tracker's heritage and the verbal abuse suffered at the hands of his father, I could appreciate the careful development of his relationship in an attempt to spare himself heartbreak. And I would not be so quick to assume "the bad guy" is actually out of the picture. As with all Sarah's books....I wish this one was longer....I'll be reading this one again and Caine's Reckoning too while waiting for book 5!

okay

This book was okay it was good, but I didn't like it as much as the others. It seemed like the other books evolved around the other characters more. This one had the others in it, but their parts were very small. The wives were almost none existent. They were mentioned and played a role, but not to the extent of the other books. I really didn't like the ending. I will not say here because I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. I did enjoy the book, but I was expecting more or something different. And having to wait until 2012 to find the outcome of some of the issues is just plain cruel.

Average

Would you try another book from Sarah McCarty and/or Isabelle Gordon?

I really don't know. I'm debating on whether I want to take the time and credit to even listen to Shadow's story, which is the next in the series. The only one I truly loved was Caine's Reckoning.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sarah McCarty? Why or why not?

Undecided at this time.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

I prefer passionate romances. This one is just a average romance in my opinion.

Any additional comments?

I have been listening to the Hell's Eight storyline, but after the first one I haven't been happy with the others.

Really good western erotic novel!

Would you try another book from Sarah McCarty and/or Isabelle Gordon?

I've read all of the previous books in this series and it's a pretty good western erotic series, even though it does go into graphic detail regarding anal sex which is a bit much for my taste.

What did you like best about this story?

Each of the female characters are portrayed differently - each with their own personality which I really liked. And as always, I love the happily ever after at the end.

What about Isabelle Gordon’s performance did you like?

Isabelle Gordon has a nice voice that told the story rather well.

Was Tracker's Sin worth the listening time?

This book was worth the listening time.
