Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.
Pete Ohms was not bad, just not good. What happened to Shari Peele who has done a number of Ms. Jackson's books? Maybe Pete will get better he sounded creepy in some parts and it threw the story off for me.
I usually like Brenda Jackson books especially the Westmorelands. I got through the book, but it was not easy. The story was decent, but it was hard listening to this guy. I had already pre-ordered another book before I listened to this one. Not sure I want to listen to this guy again.
The book was okay, I enjoyed the development of the characters and how the story evolved when I ignored the narrator which was not an easy thing to do. This is a pretty typical Brenda Jackson book. Family, love story, professionals and same love story ending. I am truly happy Ms. Jackson is putting more of her books on audible.
I will listen to my new book and hope for the best. If you like Brenda Jackson's style you will probably like this book. Hopefully most of you won't find the narrator as bad I did.
I love Brenda Jackson’s books. I have read all of the Madaris novels and enjoyed them all. So for me, the narrator ruined the story. This narrator was not a good choice. He was hard to hear in most of the female dialogue and I couldn't get into the story with him. I couldn’t finish the audio book and will be returning it.
Sweet, Sexy Seduction
I like how Justin taught Lorren the true meaning of love. After the number Lorren's ex husband put on her, I thought he would never break through to her heart. Lorren came off as this insecure damsel in distress, but in the end she toughed up and did what she had to do to get her man. I love the Madaris family, they are definately a close family. I can't wait to read about the romance of the other family members.
I didn't really have any particular favorites. I was expecting Pete Ohms to be an awful reader, because of some of the reviews I read, but I can honestly say, I thought he did a good job.
Actually I did.
Brenda, I love love love your romance stories. Keep up the good work.

What I enjoyed from this read...
The author did a beautiful job bringing us a romantic story of two people: Lorren Jacobs and Dr. Justin Madaris who both has some baggage that each would have to overcome before things started to happening good for them mentally, physically and even emotionally. "Tonight and Forever" was truly a good story of how these two found the true love that they both needed the second time around. The novel is definitely a attention grabber that will keep you reading and even wanting more at the end.
