The years of battling in the Coliseum had prepared Darius for the acts of a warrior. The counsel of his brother had taught him to fight only with honor. The love of this woman had given him the heart to accept who he must become. Juliet had called him her gladiator...and he was. He would fight for her, not Rome. And if it meant protecting her, Darius would kill without hesitation. From the moment Darius Magnus looked upon Juliet, his heart was no longer his own. A criminal in the eyes of Rome, as well as a favored gladiator, Darius must find a way to free himself from the Coliseum arena and save his Juliet from an army of Celtic warriors and an arranged marriage to a villainous senator.

The story and plot was wonderful, but what I loved best about this audio was the narrator's voice. She had such expression, emotion, and excitement in her voice. When the tension rose, so did the narrator's voice. This is something that I don't always hear in narrators.
This story was full of love, intrigue, and adventure. It kept my interest from the very beginning to the last. This was a very well written story.
I received this book free for my honest review.....This story is sweet an enjoyable about the gladiator era. Darius an Juliet fight for their love through all kinds of trials. If your looking for a sweet love story filled with Coliseum battles an the fight for love then you will very much enjoy this story.
This is a light romantic read about young love. Clean and sweet, with a dash of adventure, it offers an escape. The book contains some arena and battlefield violence, but the descriptions are not overly detailed.
I received a free copy for an honest review.
I have been a longtime fan of Caldeira. The way she brings stories to life is astounding, and this was no different. Tokens from Juliet was right down my alley. I love the Roman and Greek era, and the idea of the coliseum and gladiators. This book gives you all that and more. I wish it was longer, I enjoyed it that much.
Caldeira keeps one upping herself with each book that is released. She never fails to impress. Her ability to change accents and maintain all of the voices is unbelievable. She is obviously very talented, and I can't wait for more of her narrations to come out!
