Whew!

This was a wild crazy ride. It was enjoyable, but a little predictable. I hope Ava grows a pair and Jesse gets some Zoloft 😜 in the next book!

The Performance Perfects the Story

This is a very sexy, hot, intense love story and the narration makes it even better! The love-story is captivating, and only a little annoying when the obvious things are unsaid, overlooked, or ignored by otherwise intelligent, interesting characters. That is easily overtaken, thankfully, by the lovable, flawed Jesse Ward and his strength of will that inspires and carries the story through the end to the 3rd book in the story. The best!!!!

I am in love with this series and can't wait for the next installment. Some of the best erotic descriptions and made me blush numerous times, lol. Loved it!

Where does This Man rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's not so much the details of a long love story in comparison to other great authors. The setting actually spans little time, but if you start this one and you're not afraid of racy moments and the obsessions often spoken only in the minds of those fearful of falling in love, you WILL NOT put this one down.

What did you like best about this story?

I suppose I simply loved the drive that pulls us toward that crazy thing called love.

What about Edita Brychta’s performance did you like?

Some books are butchered by the reader. This one is a smooth fit to this magnetic love affair. I've quit listening to books I thought I'd rather read than hear in one of "those" voices, but Brychta's performance just had you repeating some lines from the book because you liked the ring of it in your ear.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Most assuredly this is a book you can't put down and somehow dread when the end comes because you feel you want more of it.

I probably said enough...I ended 'This Man' only to race to audible to purchase the next one 'Beneath This Man'.

Beware

Though I enjoyed the book at times I felt as if I was listening to the one night trilogy the same narrator reads for this one as well so at times I had to remember which series I am listening to. Jesse is very demanding, rude, and unbearable! Glad I live listened just not my favorite.

My favorite romance series

I've read this series 3 times now and am working on my fourth. It's seductive and romantic. A tale of the love we all search for that's narrated so wonderfully. I can picture the people, places and actions. If I was able to give more stars, I would.

OMG Yessss...!!!

OK I typically don't write reviews but for this one I feel its necessary. Yes I gabe this book 5 stars and it's well deserved. Typically after I read the book I avoid the audio because they ruin the book for me. However, neither the book nor this audio book disappointed me. I loved the narrator, she was absolutely perfect for this book. Jesse is mind blowing with his controlling nature and Ava is as stubborn as they come. I love this book... bravo bravo 👏👏👏

A great story

I both read and listened to this story. It’s very good at making you laugh and then swoon. I didn’t care for the voice performance which didn’t produce a voice much deeper than the male characters. I’ve actually read this entire series and it is a worthwhile read!

loved it

Apart from the obviously insane subject matter of this book (no one likes to read about a woman who may is pretty much in an emotionally abusive relationship) it's a fun story to listen to. The narrator does an excellent reading.

Love it!

I read this one years ago and finally got the audio version. I am still in love with Jesse and Ava as much as I was when I read it. Although I think I love it more listening to it now. Jesse and Ava are one of my favorite couples and are hard to beat. I am listening to book 2 now and will finish this series soon.
I am loving Edita Brychta as the narrator too. Her voice and that British accent are perfect. Great choice by the author.
