"A TRULY GREAT ROYAL PARANORMAL ROMANCE"

These books are like watching a TV chef but with the sound off and they're creating something wonderful but you've got no idea what it is or what the next ingredient is, or what's going to happen next or what it's eventually going to be - all you can do is just enjoy the picture, suck up the entertainment factor, hold on and wait for the eventual outcome.

There are so many different supernaturals involved in these riveting plots that centre around the 13 Kings all trying to find and keep hold of the one woman that can become their Queens. There's thrills, romance, hot alpha Kings, a little sex and plenty of "well I didn't see that one coming" moments.

They're not really stand alone books so start at the beginning and let Antony Ferguson whisk you away to la la land.

Worth a credit? If you're a paranormal romance fan you should be jumping on this series - so it's a YES from me and I'm looking forward to the next one - The Goblin King and I realise that this series is going to cost me at least 13 credits and, so far, I'm quite happy to do so.

    "Awesome series"

this wasn't my favorite in the series (hence the 4 stars) but it's still worth reading since the books are all fantastic.

    "Great story!"

Again, a great story. Glad there was no filler in the middle as there seemed to be in the previous book The Phantom King (not much, just a little). Very little dialogue in these books which I do miss but the story is still very good. The passion is a bit lacking and there is one sex scene towards the end. Which seems par for the course in this series

I will tell you, these books are NOT stand alone at all. You cannot just pick up the 3rd book or any book in this series and know what is going on if you don't start at the beginning with the Vampire King. All these books are cliffhangers, and currently only the first 4 are available.

    Narration was very good.
    Credit Worthy? YES.

    "Moving"

Great 3rd installment in the Kings series. The 3rd book fills in more of the missing puzzle pieces of the overall story, building the anticipation for the next king and queen book. It does leave you trying to fill in the missing pieces as to what could possibly be going to happen in the next book as the attacks on the Kings and Queens continues to grow and become more and more dangerous with each book. As with the other books you will be left with a wanting for the next book to keep going to see how it all plays out. Worth the credit or the cash to purchase.

"Too short to get into it"

I am really enjoying, in general, the basic story that is being presented, and the idea of exploring these various kingdoms of species/ peoples. However, this was a SUPER short book and I could feel the lack of development in the relationship between Jason and Chloe as a result. I totally get that Ms. Killough-Walden is trying to keep the big picture in the story while at the same time giving us some romance with the coming together of each king and queen. But again, this book is less than 7 hours long. She did a good job of keeping up the overall story, but as a result, the (theoretically) main characters of this installment kind of fell by the wayside. She could have easily added in some extra scenes here and there to flush it out further. I will pick up The Goblin King (Book 4) if it gets released on audio, but still bummed this wasn't as good as The Phantom King. But still hopeful for the next one to get back on track!!
