Publisher's Summary

He makes the rules…

Mafia enforcer Aleksandr "The Siberian" Sevastyan's loyalty to his boss is unwavering, until he meets the boss’s long-lost daughter, a curvy, tantalizing redhead who haunts his mind and heats his blood like no other. Ordered to protect her, Sevastyan will do anything to possess her as well - on his own wicked terms.

Rules are made to be broken…

PhD student Natalie Porter had barely recovered from her first sight of the breathtakingly gorgeous Sevastyan before the professional hit man whisks her away to Russia, thrusting her into a world of extreme wealth and wanton pleasures. With every day she spends under his protection, she falls deeper under his masterful spell.

Are you ready to play?

Yet all is not as it seems. To remove Natalie from an enemy’s reach, Sevastyan spirits her into hiding. From an opulent palace in Russia to the decadent playgrounds of the mega-wealthy in Paris, the two lovers will discover that even their darkest - and most forbidden - fantasies can come true…

    "Hot pull you in story"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Professional: Part 3 to be better than the print version?

    Didn't read book

What did you like best about this story?

Both Characters in the story needing and wanting something from each other but not knowing how to get it.

What does Kimberly Alexis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I've listen to her before and she always does a great job of keeping the characters separate and true to themselves. I always enjoy listening to her.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Very hot and amazing loved the ending hate to see them live happily ever.

    Any additional comments?

Listen to all three books the 2nd picks up right where the first left off so if you don't listen to the first you wouldn't understand the 2nd or 3rd book.

    "CHECKMATE !!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely. I would recommend all three parts, of course. As I have said in the previous two reviews, I rarely give 5 stars to any story/narrator because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, this 3 Part story deserved the 5 and more in all three categories. The story was short but to the point. The characters were identified, the plot revealed and twists, turns and road-blocks were woven into it; there was intrigue, secrets revealed, angst experienced (much), romance, sensuality and raw sex. All of which were described by the author and performed by the narrator in a manner that drew me in and made me feel like I was either floating above looking down on all the goings on or standing invisible watching every nuance, facial expression, feeling exposed by body language; I felt a part of it all.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Syvastian and Natalie, of course. But Natalie's father a close second.

Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?

The hero and heroine; that said she did a wonderful job with all main characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. Without spoiling anything, hopefully, it was when Natalie told Syvastian that if he shared about himself she would feel closer to him; she asked questions and he answered them.

    Any additional comments?

    Great ending but wanted more.

I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!

    "Superb ending with epilogue"

Kresley Cole's writing is superb as I was emotionally tired right along with Natalie when it came to their relationship. I do not know how many times I was begging for Natalie to run away from Sevastyan and find her self because in reality I needed her to do just that so I can have a bit of piece of mind with her. Now that they are together it is a one sided relationship. He expects her to give and accept him the way he is but not vice versa. He is emotionally unavailable. He has always had one night stands and has never been in a relationship or know how to love. All he knows is she is his weakness and he can not let her go. This all goes back to his past and let me tell you once that was revealed I was jealous that Natalie got to be the one to sooth him. All I wanted to do was jump in my kindle and be the lover to take away his pain. His past broke heart and made me understand why he is emotional unavailable and why he does not drink.

Their journey to HEA is raw, dark, mixed in with some BDSM. There was no teasing, leaving me hot and bothered like Part 1 and Part 2. No this is truly a full blown erotic and scorching-panty changing. Loved every minute of it and thought Kresley Cole did a sexy job with her first erotic novel.

I do have one complaint I really wanted the airport scene to go the other way. I really would of love to seen how that played out if it did. I was shocked the direction it took because I really thought it was going to go another way. I could not justify dropping my rating down a star because of this. I still loved how it went as is flowed nicely through the novel.

Sevastyan has skeletons in his closet that when one in particular came out I was freaking Mouth- Drops-Open shocked. I am hoping that this turns into a series because I really want to know more about Masksim and I think it would be kick butt. Kresley Cole you will never read this but if you do, I am begging you turn this into a series.

Why stop? I can't imagine this woman settling for strolling around the city and waiting at home for her man. I'd like to see her take over parts of the family business. Do something. Is she really just existing for a man now?? This kills the entire story!!!! NOT believable!!! NOT acceptable. Would have been 5 stars

"The game is on... Part 3"
What made the experience of listening to The Professional: Part 3: The Game Maker, Book 1 the most enjoyable?

listen to the series out of order and read The Master first. Honestly, I loved it more but this story was enjoyable too. I waited for all three parts before buying it per the customer reviews. My suggestion is buy all of them at once.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Natalie the most and Jessica, her best friend the least.

What about Kimberly Alexis’s performance did you like?

I like how she shows her emotions making you connect with the characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Right before the end of the book I wanted to scream at the romantic interest because he was being stubborn. It works out at the end.

    "I'm a fan!"

This was my first experience with this author but I am now a fan. The story moves right along with everything a listener hopes for - good plot, romance, steamy scenes (!), interesting characters and action. I look forward to experiencing more of Kresley Cole's works.

"great book but beware of 3 parts"

This was a great book. However, the 3 part split was a big turnoff. The split was irritating and felt like a money grab. otherwise, good book.

    "Bad writing"

I love Kresley Cole, both Immortals after Dark and the Arcana Chronicles. Since I enjoyed all those books I thought I would see how she did with a more lusty book. Wow its bad. I'm sorry this is not soft porn, its just plain crude. If the actual storylines were better than maybe I would have enjoyed the book more. It's hard to believe she wrote these. I think maybe she rushed them. Either way I won't try this type of book from her again.

    "Awesome"

Great book I have listened to it several times but I did NOT like having to purchase it in 3 separate parts I felt it was a rip off and how the parts were split was stupid and happened it strange places.

I am happy to see that book 2 is not separated into 3 parts.
