The Gamemaker series is thrilling, sexy, and kept me on the edge of my seat. Where the first part was learning the characters, this part is destroying and growing the characters. Natalie is not the same girl she was when she first arrived in Russia. She is different now. More guarded, more afraid, and much more curious. Sevastyan will have to deal with a hard situation, and it will change him. This is the part I had a hard time with. He is EXTREMELY frustrating to those of us that want more, but I understand the swift change in demeanor as well. We still haven’t learned much about “The Siberian” and I cannot wait to see what past experiences made the sexy tattooed man who he is.

These two characters grow so much throughout the course of this part. You can see a relationship start to form. However, one of the things I like best about this series is that while Cole gives us a TON (and I do mean A LOT) of spice, she makes sure to include story and emotion too. It is about the relationship, not just the sex like some erotica.

My verdict is that if you like Kresley Cole’s work try this series. If you like a lot of steam, try this series. If you like erotica but hate that they lack story, TRY THIS SERIES! You will not be disappointed! :)

Good Sexy Continuation To The Series

The story picks up right where Part I left off. Literally. The ending of Part I was Sevastyan and Natalie riding their horses to a sauna house to get out of the storm and Part II starts with them in the sauna. I did have to go back to the first book and read the ending again to get my bearings.

Whereas the last book we were on the edge of our seats wondering what the Russian Mafiya would be like and what that meant for Natalia, this one is more relationship building with Natalie and Sevastyan. She likes her time in Russia getting to know her father. Things aren’t so scary for her except for the fact that if anything were to happen between her and Sevastyan they’d be expected to get married. Which Sevastyan is all on board for but Natalia… not so much.

This was a great follow up to Part I. I don’t want to say too much but there’s also suspense in this one when betrayal within causes Natalie and Sevastyan to go into hiding. Plus we get more of those steamy scenes between the two. This is a great erotica story with a lot of backbone to it and I for one cannot wait until part 3 comes out.

WHAT... is behind that curtain!

WOW... JUST WOW! I totally love KC books, and man can she write a cliffhanger. I was so wrapped in this part 2, even though I already read the book... I was just as shocked at the end as Natalie... counting down the days for part 3 to release... I so want a Russian Mafioso now!

Narration was awesome... great buy or sale... save credit for something more expensive.

A delicious BDSM

I was initially very upset at Audible to have broken down a book into three parts and so after reading the first book, I did a search and found-out that was how the books were released. This is one story cut up over three books and each short enough that all would have made one book of about 12.5 hrs total but the readers will pay for three books. This May the books will be released as one, so if you can wait, it may be best to pay one credit rather than about $18 for all three. Great story but I really like how witty Kresley Cole is. Wonderful one liners are throughout the books. A definite 5 stars.

Great story! Short installments

I am really enjoying this series, however I don't understand such short installments. I am preparing to listen to the third part of this series, however I find annoying that the author writes three short stories no more than 3 to 3 1/2 hours long and: calls it a series. All three books equate a little over of 10 hours of listening time. The story itself is awesome and the narration is even better.

A word to the authors, I recommend that you bundle your "short" stories and present them at a reasonable price. To audible, I recommend that you create some standards about what a series or novel before presenting it to your customers.

Creating price ranges is recommended as well.

This nearly 4 hour story packs a lot of punch and a tremendous cliffhanger too! I just love it. This story is very hot and sexy with some sadness and mystery as well. I love the narrator...a female with a wicked Russian male accent! So just continue to string me along with these short stories because I am hooked.
