Mesmerizing....

Have you ever found yourself listening to a story and realized you haven't moved or taken a breath because you are listening so intently? That is this listen....This is my first Kinsale listen and will not be my last. A historical romance with a modern storyline and the most beautiful voice I have listened to in a long time. What more could you ask for?

Good Book!!

I enjoyed this book, though not as well as "flowers from the storm". If you like LK books you like this one.

SIMPLY LOVELY SENSEOUS PROVOCATIVE TANTALIZING

It may start out slowly, but hang in there it gets much, much better. I enthusiastically enjoyed this book. Love the timbre of the narrator's voice and loved the story line. I really enjoy this author. I have more of her books to enjoy in the future. I would love the inclusion of a one woman for the female parts!!!

MIXED EMOTIONS

I enjoyed the story, most of the time. It had it's moments that I had to pause, but I came back for more.

Fabulous

This author intrigued me with her ability to write fantastically detailed novels set in diverse time periods and locations. The characters are not your typical types and her ability to draw you into their lives is amazing. In this novel I was astonished at her knowledge of dog and horse behavior and training. I myself am a horse and dog trainer and what she described would have made a great instructional video on how to train. My very favorite part was the ending. As an equestrian, I would never have thought of that—food for thought, LOL!! As always the narrator with his incredible sexy voice and ability to imitate so very many voices was superb.

It could have been a 5

Great storyline. It kept me up for a few nights wanting to know what was going to happen. However the long and detailed lovemaking sessions were many. Otherwise it would have been a 5.

OMG he spoke French!!!

I just have to start out by saying that Mr. Boulton can speak French and Italian to me ANY TIME. I felt like Gomez in the Adams Family. His English is just as good in fact I caught a little Tom Hiddleston and Rex Harrison there which really helped visualize Senior Minuet (think I have that right). This was my first story from Madam Kinsale but it will not be my last if the others are like Prince of Midnight. I just hope it won't take as long to like the heroine in those. I get where Leigh is coming from but I'm with S.T. in that she really doesn't know what she wants and she is so frustrating. He's no angel either and I like how he really is a man's man and doesn't make excuses for his past. True, he could have toned down the flirting with the girls BUT he was putting up an act and had to play the role. Besides, Leigh kept playing hot and cold so he really didn't know what to do other be himself without completely shaming himself. The biggest problem these two face was their pride. The only big issue I have is how the villain was ended....really? Out just like that? After everything he had something a little gruesome coming to him but okay. All in all, I'll relisten...or maybe skip to the sexy French and Italian words.

Fabulous read

I got this as part of a sale. I didn't expect much. I found I was riveted. For the majority of the read I wondered where we were going. What a great ride!

This is the second time I listened to this book.
I learn more about the struggles of life in the characters.
I would recommend this book.
The narrative was great!
