Bad Southern Accent
I loved the first book and the narrator. But on this book his female southern accent really spoiled it for me. I jumped ahead because of this. As always Nora writes a warm, beautiful love story but this was not one of her best.

Always a good story
She's not perfect, but Nora's really great at weaving a good romance. Doesn't matter if it's fantasy, mystery, action or a combination. She always satisfies.

Interesting.
Would you listen to The Pride of Jared MacKade again? Why?
I'm not sure. The characters grated on my nerves a bit. Good God Almighty those two are full of pride.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Pride of Jared MacKade?
I loved when Jared and Brian had their talk in the woods. It made me a bit teary eyed.
Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
He has to be my favorite narrator ever. This one is ok, but I seriously loved his performance of the first book in this series.

Recommended
Very good follow-up to Rafe's story. This story can stand on its own however, is greatly enhanced when read in series order. There is so much I like about this story. Little lessons learned and the strength of the female character.
