Publisher's summary

Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She's stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family's corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary...until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.

Julietta's been burned before - and trusting her brother-in-law's friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

Another great romance.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I enjoyed it very much overall. However I do agree with another review that it was very predictable.

What other book might you compare The Marriage Merger to and why?

I have come to like romance novels much more with reading the marriage series.

What about Madeleine Maby’s performance did you like?

I would say so so. She has become very predictable. Not as good as the ones before.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I though she did a great performance. It's clear why she was chosen for the majority of the marriage series books.

The Bad boy meets sexy and straight laced girl

Pretty sexy story right from the start.A supposed magic"book"or maybe a match making mama...either way, these two(Sawyer and Julietta)fill in the gaps in each others lives. He teachers her to let loose her sexuality, and she teaches him that there's more to him than physical beauty and pleasure.Together they both learn important lessons which in the end compliment and complete them.Narration was very good. She did a great Italian accent.

Loved it

There wasn't want part of this book that I didn't love. I really felt like the character of Julianna WA me. The author was pairing into my soul. I know some people may think that the story was unrealistic but I am going through/ have experienced the same feelings that Juliana was experiencing. I have read all of the books in the Marriage and Searching for series and I felt closer to the Julianna and Sawyer story. Jennifer you have done it again. I would definitely recommend these books to everyone that I know.

My favorite of the series.

the narrator was convincing as a male, female, and italian. the story was more than sex and romance, it showed that everyone has issues no matter the wealth.

Cute, Touching Romance

This was a cute little romance, with very poignant moments and a few intense love scenes. It's apparently a part of a series (and this is the final installment) but I didn't know that when I purchased it--how this happened, I don't know, but I wouldn't say this is a credit worthy book or series. It kept my interest but simply because I was curious and wanted to see how things wrapped up in the end. The narrator reminded me of Grace Grant (Beautiful Bastard series), so I enjoyed her although her Italian accent grated on my nerves at times. The characters were probably the most interesting, however the author should've developed the plot in such a way that would've used such interesting characters in a better way. For this lack of plot development, I was left with lukewarm feelings overall. Now that I feel like I've completely trashed this book--not my intention really--I feel like I should admit that I would probably purchase another Jennifer Probst book but it would have to come highly recommended with off the charts star ratings!

Fun, but others were better

I really have enjoyed the last books of the Marriage Series. But this one, just didn't see to have the same charisma, or chemistry as the others. I found my mind wandering during different scenes. Plain to say, this book just did not hold my interest the way the Marriage Bargain or the Marriage Mistake did! While it was fun to see where all the other characters ended up- I won't be reading this one again. Excellent narration though!
