Always a Fun Read
Cyrus Jones and Sedona Snow are two of my favorite characters in the Harmony and Rain Shadow tales. Barbara Rosenblatt does a wonderful job of bringing them to life. Ms. Rosenblat remains one of my favorite narrators. She's able to make the men sound macho and the women sound sexy. It's always disappointing when the narrator has to struggle to make the men sound masculine and the women sound feminine without sounding like they're still in high school. Thank you Barbara.

Good book, but...
Would you consider the audio edition of The Hot Zone to be better than the print version?
Like previous reviews this is Jayne Castle as her best, but the narrators 10 pack a day smokers voice just about ruins it. Most of the time the narrators voice sounds so masculine that you really have to listen carefully as to what parts are being read, if it's the female role or the male role. As for the story its self Jayne Castle once again hits it out of the ball park with another great Rainshadow tale. You get to visit all the previous characters along with learning the story of Sedona Snow and Cyrus Jones. Overall this is a great book and I highly suggest skipping the audio book and go straight to reading this one.

This is my favorite series written by Jayne Ann Krentz. I’ve read each of them several times. Hopefully Jayne will write more in this series. Absolutely recommend this book

Love this book and all of Jayne Castle’s work

A good addition to the series
Would you listen to The Hot Zone again? Why?
I am enjoying the Rainshadow series. Some of the offerings have been a bit subpar, but this one was good. A bit more attention to individualizing the books could be considered. I am getting the feeling of "lick and promise" to meet publishing deadlines.
Perhaps a writing vacation could be considered even though I look forward to the books. They are a good diversion from reality. I want to keep anticipating them and not be disappointed when they appear.
