Love books that make me laugh and swoon

I love this series. I listen at work and I start laughing and can't quit. Love the kids and especially their Momma's. Please keep writing such wonderful stories.

Names of Main Characters

I almost put the series down for good but stayed because the story is amazing. When you change the narrator and don’t tell them how the last narrator said the main characters names you make people mad. Everything else was great but trying to refigure out who’s who cause you think it’s supposed to be said one way or another. At book 5 you don’t change it. I almost threw up when she said Avar instead of Aver or Ferrrgus instead of Fargas.

I really can't stand the new narrator

I'm obviously going to keep reading because I've been going through this series like it's butter with a hot knife. I love the series I love the author and I used to love the narrator. this new narrator is awful. she not only changed the pronunciation of all the names but she pauses constantly and I think there's something wrong with my player. why don't narrators familiarize themselves with the stories the pronunciation of names and maybe even oh my goodness listen to the narrator that they're taking the place of to find out how things are pronounced. it's very irritating!!!

Very Good! & Kick-A**

I'm almost ashamed at how much I enjoyed the blood-shed, destruction, and head-severing at the hands of the powerful women in this story. Yet, these acts were not told in what I'd describe as gruesome detail. But, as is common in war, these types of acts did occur and often at the hand of a female. And, admittedly, some of the women seemed to take great glee in delivering death to their foes. But this is also common in war. So it was fun to listen to it occur at the hand of women who were powerful yet also lacked no aspect of their womanhood. Feminity was not delivered on the backs of dolcility (if that's a word) and deferring to men and/or manhood. I loved it. And yes, there were sex scenes which were somewhat explicit. But, except for the f-word, the language accompanying the sex scenes made them somewhat tamed compare to what would be expected in erotica. But if you have a problem with the f-word, then you'll surely have a problem with this book b/c it's used quite frequently. Similarly, language most people would expect from hard-fighting people--men or women--is included in this book. My only negative is that it was hard to keep up with some of the characters. There are many, and some of their names are similar. I also loved that it was humorous. I always enjoy that in a story, and it's amazing how difficult it can be to find stories with that added aspect.

The Dragon Who Loved Me

I’ve listened to the books before this one. My only problem was this reader - she says the names different than the first books. It made it confusing at first.

What an awesomely funny series!

I love this Dragon series! I needed a lift from my chronic pain and this series has more than delivered! Without being a shallow boring story these books have given me hours of escape into the lives of these Dragons. I adore the humor along with the grit and struggles they go through. I highly recommend these books and tell you to settle down, get comfortable and enjoy flight!

Not sure how I feel about the new narrator

I'm not really sure how I feel about this new narrator, but I do know that I hate how she does Queen Rhiannon's voice
