Good but a little lack luster
Goes from not together to getting married in the blink of an eye, with a random other storyline going on that I’m still not sure what the point of it was…. I’m going to keep reading the series though! Fingers crossed it gets more organized

GREAT READ!
Author did an excellent job of developing characters throughout the series. Just enough love, sex, intrigue and turmoil. A little predictible, of course, but still a great read! Narrator is a little slow and drawn out BUT you get used to him. The only downside is that Audible does not offer all of the books in the series - I'm off to B&N to find the rest!

Good love story
I enjoyed this love story. Lucian and Anya were a good match. I liked the push and pull in their relationship. I am looking forward to listening to Paris' story.

Great Book!
I'm completely hooked on this series after this book! The Darkest Night was great and this was a great follow up - I love how Showalter intertwines one book to the next. My only semi-negative comment would be that as much as I like Max Bellmore's voice for each of these books, I wish Anya's voice wasn't quite so whiny. Then again, that does fit with some of her personality so it's not anything I felt took away from the book.

Death becomes her :-)
I really enjoyed this second book featuring Lord of the Underground Lucien and his death demon. His heroine Anya is such a feisty spitfire! Listening to their relationship unfold was funny, endearing, and heart warming. I highly recommend this series, and recommend starting from the beginning with Darkest Night.

Love this series
love this book and series! not my first time reading The Darkest Kiss but it's my first time listening to it. I think the narrator did a great job making sure that each character sounded different yet not over compensating, not even for the females.
