I love a good steamy story but occasionally I buy a book and the main focus of the plot is sex. That is the case here! Yes both main characters are damaged but they fall into bed immediately and proclaim their love. I hated it! I made myself listen to 2/3 just in case it redeemed itself later with a little more depth. It didn't. So bad!

I loved Simon! He is a different type of billionaire. Not a playboy....in fact he is a computer geek who is anti social. He is super sweet with alpha tendencies in the bedroom. Cara seemed very nice and really just what he needed. I enjoyed watching these two get to know each other.
I did listen to this on audio. The narrator did a good job.

its was okay but not exciting

it had potential but fell short. I struggled to finish the book. narrator did a great job

maybe it was just the voices

the voice was just a turn off.... could not picture a manly voice while saying fuck cara the way it sounded

Same old story, different names. Stop making Characters so they don't have to go through not Communicating effectively.

Excellent story

Great story line, excitement and action packed through out all 3 books. Love, sorrow and commitment of the characters in this book.

HEA-check!

When you need a break from daily life, to hear a story where someone else experiences all the angst and hurt we all feel from time to time, then pick this one up. A predictable story but fun to hear, none the less. And of course, the HEA makes it all worthwhile! Not a fan of Elizabeth Powers as a narrator, as she seems to have trouble modulating the narration, often going higher and higher until you want to make her take a breath and to lower the octave! This will not feature in my top 100, but a nice little bit of escapism.

ABSOLUTELY! I loved Simon and Kara. They are an amazing couple who have challenges to overcome in each of the books.

What did you like best about this story?

What I enjoyed best is that there are so many unexpected situations. When you think you have it figured out something new pops up or is revealed. It keeps you going.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene is when Simon reveals his past and the reasons for why he is like he is. I never expected what they were and it brought more of his character to life.

I loved this series and I have totally enjoyed J.S. Scott. I recommend all her books as her characters continue into each of the books in one format or another.
