This complete collection of The Billionaire's Obsession includes: Mine For Tonight, Mine For Now, Mine Forever, Mine Completely
Down-on-her-luck nursing student and full-time waitress Kara Foster gets a massive blow to her already desperate financial situation that will surely find her living on the streets. Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely, and overwhelming source. Billionaire Simon Hudson makes her an offer that is impossible to refuse, but terrifying to accept from a man that she's never met. Will the handsome, alpha billionaire really be a solution to her problems? Or will he end up being a major complication and a danger to her emotional sanity?
Reclusive billionaire Simon Hudson would rather be behind a computer creating computer games than rubbing elbows with the elite and he knows exactly what he wants...until he meets Kara Foster. Something about Kara touches Simon in ways he's never experienced and definitely doesn't like. For over a year, Simon watches over Kara, but stubbornly refuses to admit his desire to possess her, not even to himself. But when she ends up in a situation that could very well be her destruction, Simon steps up to help her, not realizing that in saving Kara, he might very well be salvaging his own soul.
This is an erotic romance and is not intended for YA listeners. It contains graphic language, explicit sex, and other subjects not appropriate for YA listeners.

I liked that Simon, even though he was a billionaire, was a very insecure and vulnerable man, and that Kara, who had nothing, was a very strong and self-sufficient woman. They both balanced each other out even though they had many ups and downs in their relationship. They helped each other overcome the issues that affected each of them from their pasts to make them a strong and loving couple.
Simon was my favorite because he really developed and grew throughout the book with the help of Kara. His past was full of betrayal which would be debilitating to many people. Because of his feelings for Kara, he bravely worked through those issues to emerge stronger which made him able to commit to a deeper relationship.
I loved Elizabeth Power's as the narrator. She lent credence to the emotions that the author was conveying in her story. Ms. Power's voice was also very pleasant to listen to which kept me totally engrossed as she switched between Simon, Kara other characters as well as the basic narrationl.
This was my first audible and now I am hooked. I listen to audibles as I work on tasks around the house. I would love to have listened to it all in one sitting, but it is lengthy since it four books compiled into one larger one.
I really enjoyed my first experience with audibles, and I will definitely listen to all of this author's books that are offered in this format.
I loved that all these four books were made into one Audible Book and I could listen to it all without having to pay for each individual short book.
I loved the excitement, the descriptions, the characters, the voice of the narrator, and the author.
She made this seem story seem so real like I was right there in it.
I am in love with this story. I am waiting for the second book to come out and I really hope it does soon and that there is one.
I want to read more of these types of books from this author and narrator. Definitely a New FAVORITE for me!
Yes!!! This was not only HOT!!!! It has a beautiful story and made me smile and even giggle I loved it.... I really can't wait till the next one!!!!
Facebook had this scrolling on my feed the other day and when I read the blurb it looked kind of interesting, plus it was free. I thought what the heck, I like free. I bought it and discovered that the free part was only the first third of the book, which I find really annoying. Still I wanted to know what happened to Simon and Kara (well mostly Kara) so I bought the rest of the book (99 cents, can't even get coffee for 99 cents). Then because the whispersync version was only $1.99, I got that too, so I could continue knitting my sock.
So what did I like about the book? The characters were pretty well drawn and both had compelling backstories.
What I did not like about the book was the continual use of f**k, f**king, f**k me, etc., seriously, it seemed like if the author didn't use the word at least five times on each page, she went back and rewrote. We get that these two were hot for each other, but there are other words. And her description of Kara and Simon having sex were at times laughable.
The narrator was pretty good, although I would have liked it more if she could have picked up the speed just a tad bit.
I like my books to have a little more story, a little more character development, and just a little less crudeness. But that's just me.
As a psychiatrist addiction is important to me. I am addicted to audible books, kindle books, my husband, and my thirteen cats.
The book was a repeat by another author, with different names and basically the same script. These Erotic books are going to have to get more interesting. I mean don't get me wrong I love Erotic books but you can only here the woman orgasm so many times. WE need plots, adventure, seduction. Kill some, stop a bomb from exploding in a third world country, survivors of an airplane crash re-meeting again, Do something for heaven sakes your dominate Billionaires.
I love books! Audiobooks take stories to the next level. I'm obsessed with Audible and will try to rate all of my books. Happy Listening! ;)
If Harlequin commissioned a Fifty Shades of Grey remake this would be it. I saw many similarities in the storyline. I didn't mind that and enjoyed the story. I do have an issue with this being a "collection" of stories. The term collection seems to be more of a marketing tool because it's just one standard book. It has many hot love scenes and the romance is believable. You also get an introduction to Sam and Maddie's story which is a bonus and makes you want to listen to the next book. The narrator does a pretty good job as well.
Yes! I love this book, it actually had a story that didn't depend on sex scenes as fillers.
Simon was my favorite because he was wounded and locked away for so long and he had so much love locked away I just he hoped everyday that that special women would come along and when she did? Oh my!
I haven't heard her before but will watch for her in future.
I didn't want to pause this book but when I did I hurried what ever to get back to it. I wanted it to go on. Some unfinished story-lines I wanted to know if the poor brother found happiness too. Oh well.
This book is on my favorite list now I would like more from J.S. Scott I may have to read the books if they are out there as nothing else is on Audible
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
This was a great story in the beginning... but after like the 2nd story... I began to get bored...
The (h) kinda got on my nerves after a while of not trusting in herself... so...yeah... it made the story drag on, and on, and on....
I totally loved Simon... such a cute, dominating, reclusive character...
Very nice smexing going on in this one... but I can't wait to listen to Simon's brother Sam story...
Worth a credit or sale...
Narration was ok.. nothing spectacular...
Totally exceeded my expectations. Brilliantly narrated, good absorbing story line. Loved the characters and look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
"Awesome love story"
Bit miffed that I have to write a second review just because I have read the book more than once.
The story does actually get better the more times you read it.
Although I do seriously wonder where all these hot and sex single billionaires, who need rescuing from their dark past, are hiding because I keep looking and have yet to find one!!!
A wonderfully sexy and erotic story beautifully narrated.
Have the books got the audio books to give me something to listen to in the car.
I have always loved the J S Scott books. The audio is as good as I thought it would be.
"good, but I have read better."
The story seemed to drag on a bit at the end like it was trying to fit the last sex scenes in and all the loose ends. The storyline was predictable at times too. Still a good book, but I have read better.
"A bad attempt at fifty shades"
An attempt at fifty shades done very badly. No storyline to speak off. First book I have read from this author so unsure if previous work better.
Amazing book can't wait until the next one
It was a exotic and fun books
"An Obsession with a difference"
I really enjoyed Powers' reading of all the characters.
This is definitely for mature listeners.
After ten minutes, I was really weary of listening to the end. There are so many of these stories where the rich man has dark secrets and desires and makes the woman follow his desires because this is how he is and she just has to change her ways because he wants her and always gets what he wants.
Well, this was NOT like that, and I did listen all the way to the end. Yes, he was overbearing and bossy and wanted her safe but he was kind and generous too. Simon and Kara really completed each other. Her excitement and enthusiasm and his kindness really made them a good match. Sam and Maddie are also really good supporting characters and their 'history' makes for a good enticement to listen to their story - I cannot wait.
"An Intriguing Read!"
This is an entertaining erotic romance. I really enjoyed it.
I downloaded this in audiobook format after a recommendation from Audible due to my browsing history. I listened to the sample and decided to give it a try. This book is narrated by Elizabeth Powers, who did a wonderful job with bringing the characters to life. I did, however, think that she over acted at times and under acted on others. Nevertheless, she read the story clearly and concisely.
Kara Foster is a character I struggled to like. I found her too proud and, at times, very self-absorbed. She is a student nurse, whose life implodes when she and her roommate are evicted from their flat, not knowing that her roommate hadn't been paying the rent. When she meets Simon Hudson and he offers her a solution to her problem, Kara reluctantly accepts.
Simon Hudson is a wonderful character. I liked him a lot more than Kara. He's not had an easy childhood and has trust issues, but this hasn't stopped him from working hard to make something of himself. Having watched Kara working at his mom's restaurant for a year as a waitress, he finds himself obsessed with her. When he finds out about Kara's predicament, he offers her a way to keep studying without worry.
I started to listen to the story and became intrigued with it. As I said before, I struggled to like Kara. She is extremely independent and proud. I can understand this, but it didn't stop me from wanting to either shake some sense into her or punch her (and I'm not normally a violent person). The story is mainly told through the eyes of Kara and Simon, although there are scenes which are told through the eyes of Simon's brother, Sam, and Kara's best friend, Maddy Reynolds.
The first story, Mine For Tonight, introduces the reader to Kara and Simon and their growing relationship. In Mine For Now, Kara is struggling to figure out her feelings and is determined to keep her independence. In Mine Forever, Simon's painful past is brought to light and the two of them struggle with their own demons. In Mine Completely, Kara is dealing with some unexpected news and is worried at what this would mean for both her and Simon.
Each story is well written and kept my attention. There are several scenes of an explicit nature, including some low level kink in the form of bondage. However, I didn't find them particularly hot. Although, if I had read the story rather than listened to it, I may have found it more so. Nevertheless, I found the last scene between Kara and Simon to be very touching and sweet and I could picture it easily. I am glad I downloaded this as a full collection, as I thought that each novella would have been too short on their own. By having this as a collection, the flow of the story is not interrupted. Although I enjoyed this story, I am not sure whether I will be continuing the series.
J.S. Scott has written an entertaining erotic romance. I liked her writing style, which is fast paced and engaging, and the flow of the story is wonderful. This is the first book/series I have read by this author. However, I would consider reading more of her books in the future.
Due to the explicit sexual scenes, I do not recommend this book to younger readers. I do, however, recommend this book if you love New Adult, Erotic Contemporary Romance or Erotica genres. - Lynn Worton
"wow so romanti"
loved this it's full of fantasy and romance and sexy talk the guys seem so hot
I stumbled onto this series. I downloaded this one as I like the reviews. It is actually a really 'nice' story & the only thing that spoils it is the billionaire bits. Come on author ...get real. How any earth can us normal folk relate to the subject? To be honest the fact that Simon is a billionaire really has little bearing on the story & the relationship between him & Cara is sweet. Don't be put off by the 3 books as it runs seamlessly.
