Publisher's summary

The New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Another fun one!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It was a fun story. I liked that it was set in France, mainly after Vegas and we got to see Paris through her eyes. And I loved that Ansel wanted to keep Mia and did his best to coerce her into staying. He was so sweet!!

What other book might you compare Sweet Filthy Boy to and why?

CL books? That's a tough one. I like all CL books because they are different....
.different story's, etc. So. Hard to compare.

What three words best describe Shayna Thibodeaux’s performance?

She did great! Her French accent seemed to improve as the story went along.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Loved by a Frenchman!

Any additional comments?

I just wish Jason Carpenter could have done Ansels POV voice. His Sweet Filthy Morning After was amazing! I think they should re-do the studio with Jason as well as Shayna.

Maybe to much sex

I never thought I say this but for my personal taste there was to much sex. The sex was very well written and brilliantly descriptive but overplayed the majority of the book. It was a cute storyline and expectant but not something that had me on the edge of my seat and staying up late to get more time in.

Talking in waves...just the narrator

I loved this book, so much that I have listened to it twice! Christina Lauren is one of my favorite authors and I have every one of her books. This story is a crazy ride with great sex and wonderful love found in unexpected circumstances. I didn't hate the narrator but she talked in waves. When listening she would go up/down throughout the book and it sometimes got irritating. I can't for the next one!!.

Loved the story but the narrator was choppy

Any additional comments?

Great story, not so great narrator. She talked with a pattern that didn't fit

Ooh La La!!! Via La France!!!!!

What did you love best about Sweet Filthy Boy?

Ansel an Mia's chemistry.

What other book might you compare Sweet Filthy Boy to and why?

Is there another book to compare it too? Don't think so!

Have you listened to any of Shayna Thibodeaux’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Haven't listened to any other of her books, but, wow, this was great!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Via La France!

Any additional comments?

A French man equals swoon

Just reading the reviews about the handsome French man had my interest piqued! The sex was hot, the love was passionate and did I mention the sex was hot?

LOVED this book!

I don't write many reviews, but I just had to write a little blurb about Christina Lauren's newest book. Ansel twisted my heart in knots. He was sweet, charming, and playful. Mia had her insecurities, but thankfully wasn't a bore because of them. The storyline was engaging and the backdrop...well, it was Paris...c'est bon! The narrator made Ansel's voice believable, and even had Mia stumbling over the pronunciations, also believable. I was up until 3 am when I worked the next day just to hear the entire book without sleep interrupting the story. It was well worth it. If you haven't already been hooked by Christina Lauren's "Beautiful" series (as I am) go ahead and download this wonderful story. You'll likely want to hear everything she writes, and again...you won't be disappointed!

WOW, COULDN'T STOP LISTENING AN INTENSE LOVE STORY

I'm slowly going through all of Ms Lauren's books, why you may ask, well because they're all just that good and I've already preordered Dirty Rowdy Thing which is the next book in this new Wild Seasons series.

Anyway, back to this book.... what a compelling listen about attraction, chemistry, the stupidity that one drunken night in Vegas caused, opportunities, lots and lots of sex and a slowly growing love story. There are other characters involved but this focuses mainly on the intense and intimate connection that Mia and the gorgeous Ansel have for each other and their all consuming sex-fest, character growth and the life altering decisions that followed.

I thought the narration was good... especially Ansel's French accent which was very sexy.

Worth a credit? I haven't yet come across one of her books I didn't like, so that's a YES.
