Publisher's summary

The New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

LOVED this book!

I don't write many reviews, but I just had to write a little blurb about Christina Lauren's newest book. Ansel twisted my heart in knots. He was sweet, charming, and playful. Mia had her insecurities, but thankfully wasn't a bore because of them. The storyline was engaging and the backdrop...well, it was Paris...c'est bon! The narrator made Ansel's voice believable, and even had Mia stumbling over the pronunciations, also believable. I was up until 3 am when I worked the next day just to hear the entire book without sleep interrupting the story. It was well worth it. If you haven't already been hooked by Christina Lauren's "Beautiful" series (as I am) go ahead and download this wonderful story. You'll likely want to hear everything she writes, and again...you won't be disappointed!

WOW, COULDN'T STOP LISTENING AN INTENSE LOVE STORY

I'm slowly going through all of Ms Lauren's books, why you may ask, well because they're all just that good and I've already preordered Dirty Rowdy Thing which is the next book in this new Wild Seasons series.

Anyway, back to this book.... what a compelling listen about attraction, chemistry, the stupidity that one drunken night in Vegas caused, opportunities, lots and lots of sex and a slowly growing love story. There are other characters involved but this focuses mainly on the intense and intimate connection that Mia and the gorgeous Ansel have for each other and their all consuming sex-fest, character growth and the life altering decisions that followed.

I thought the narration was good... especially Ansel's French accent which was very sexy.

Worth a credit? I haven't yet come across one of her books I didn't like, so that's a YES.

I love these types of listens

I would read anything these ladies write. The story is fun. Work was interfering with my listening to this book. (lol) Couldn't wait to get home to escape to Paris (my favorite city) and Mia's life. Enjoyed.

I found your next book to read!
OH WOW. Christina Lauren did it AGAIN!!!! I absolutely loved this book! I have been reading a lot lately and I've thought about taking a break because all the books I've read were a complete SNOOZE FEST! So glad I found this book! I loved the characters and the love story between them. The book description kind of turned me off with the Las Vegas meeting and the trip to Paris but it was completely different than described! The book as intriguing, fun, sexy, loving, heart warming, interesting and unpredictable!!! There was actually a plot twist that I didn't see coming at all and I loved it !!!! I would defiantly recommend this book!!

I LOVEDDDDDD Ava and Ansels character SO MUCH Their love was new and exciting and completely beautiful !!!!!

This is a MUST read!!!

Really Enjoyable Fairly Light-Hearted Love Story

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ansel was wonderful. He was sweet and hot and maintained the perfect balance of attentive and confident and independent. So many heroes in love stories end up being just too much and not realistic, but him having his own life and his own secrets made him so much more real and likable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book didn't make me laugh or cry really, but it did leave me longing to hear more about Ansel and Mia. I was disappointed to realize that the rest of the series focuses on the other characters from Vegas. I don't want to hear their stories because the idea of 3 couples getting drunkingly married in Vegas and then all of them ending up being a real love connection really kind of kills the story of Ansel and Mia for me.

New Favorite

I read this book for a book club. I'm a sucker for a love story & this didn't disappoint. Thankfully there are a couple more stories in this series so I don't have to break up with these characters yet. On to book #2. Loved it

Good, good, good

Any additional comments?

Thought Shayna Thibodeaux did a wonderful job narrating this book. I usually prefer two narrators but this was very well done. Look forward to the next book in the series.

She did it again !!!

I have to admit, after reading the summary I wasn't very excited about the book. But I trusted the author after her last series; loved the book and listened to it every chance I got. The only thing that got to me was how insecure Mia was. The point was over done in the writing for me. With that said, I still loved this book over all, thought the narrator was awesome and recommend it to everyone.

A sexy listen!

Any additional comments?

Parts of this book are fantastic, oh my goodness those sex scenes! Ansel is incredibly sweet and I like Mia.
My biggest problem with this story is the obvious secret Ansel is omitting and how long it takes to come out. Due to this parts of the story feel drawn out. It is a story about insta-lust that becomes love. There's real friends and character progression. If it wasn't for how long it takes for the reveal to happen this would be a 5 star book for me.
A fun listen. The narrator was very good.Pick it up give it a try just realize its one heck of a sexy read.

Would you listen to Sweet Filthy Boy again? Why?

Yes. I love Ansel. I love everything about him. He's so swoon worthy....ah, I just love him.

What other book might you compare Sweet Filthy Boy to and why?

None other. This book is just wonderful!

What does Shayna Thibodeaux bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes! She makes this story come to life!
