Narrator was too annoying. will just read the book

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I had to return the book after just the beginning due to the annoying narrator.

What didn’t you like about Romy Nordlinger’s performance?

She sounds nasally and like a 60 yr old lifelong smoker

Can't they just write the whole story in one book?

I am really tired of publishing companies and authors writing a novel and splitting it into two or three parts to sell for more $. Just charge more for it to begin with and provide the whole story. Really people! I feel ripped off. It just ends with the biggest cliff hanger. Seems like Fifty Shades started this trend it is getting worse all the time.

I'd totally recommend it

Good plot and characters. I found myself drawn in by it. Don't know why a couple of people are so uptight about this narrator. I liked her style. The book has a great sense of fun and she had that down. I'll buy the next one for sure.

Kept me entertained

I liked the best friend relationship – reminds me of me and my bff.

I hadn’t heard this narrator before but she was pretty good. Particularly with finding the humor cause when all's said and done, even though it’s a serious book, it’s certainly fun.

Some of it’s kinda silly, but overall fun and I want to hear more.

As far as romance books go, I liked that this one. It has a lot of humor, and strong women friends, exciting and intriguing locations. Sometimes it was slow and I didn't know where it was going, but for the most part I just wanted to know. I'm looking forward to the next one. I liked Romy Nordlinger a lot, I've heard her before and she always goes there.

Unstoppable hot stuff!

Couldn’t put this down! Great chemistry between the characters. Ooh that Jett…

I wasn’t quite ready for this one, it was sexy stuff all through but it was also a good mystery. It got hotter and better as it went along. Watch out – the story takes you by surprise.

Romy the narrator has a sexy voice and she really went there with the characters too. I totally got her delivery.

Good story, can't stand the narrator's voice

This contemporary romance was well-written with enough steamy sex scenes (although I wouldn't put this into the 'erotic' category as the language is somewhat tame), but I found Romy Nordlinger's voice to be very 'squeaky' sounding, with a little nasal sound, to be very poor for a romance novel. The sex scenes were a complete turn-off because I couldn't get past the sound of her voice. It just grated on me. Her enunciation and diction were perfect, but the timbre of the voice was too distracting in my opinion. As part of a trilogy I thought her ending was too final sounding with no 'cliffhanger' to really make us want to listen to parts 2 & 3.

I so much preferred the book to the audio of this one. I do not like to post bad reviews - but I could not handle the narrator's voice in the audio version.

This book was a good lesson on testing the narrater before bying.... I couldnt listen pass chater one. But when i read the book it was good :}
