Sherrilyn's Dark-Hunter series.
I love Sherrilyn's Dark-Hunter series. She is one of my favorite authors. When you start one of these novels you don't want to stop reading.

My favorite Dark Hunter story!
I had the best time reading "Seize the Night" a few years ago when I devoured the entire Dark Hunter series published at that point. "Acheron" and "Styxx" are the best overall just because each is so hefty, but the bad things that happen are so painful, I can't bring myself to re-read about their human lives. STN, however, has such a BEAUTIFUL love story mixed in with tons of action and major plot points that I knew it should be the very first audiobook I should listen to from the DHL series. I was right!
Fred Bergman's narration was wonderful. He brought so many of my favorite characters to life, it was a pleasure listening to every word he spoke. I'll even forgive him for mispronouncing Nick's last name, which IS a big deal. (It's GO-SHAY not Go-Tee-Ay.)
Tabitha and Valerius are perfectly matched opposites who make each other complete. They spend a lot of time one-to-one in this book, getting to know and trust each other, and appreciating their differences. The tone of the narration was spot-on, relaying perfectly each character's strengths and vulnerabilities--especially their vulnerabilities, which will give you "the feels" as my daughter calls it. :-)
Overall, this is excellent. Highly recommend!

I love a good redemption story
I grew up with Xena the warrior princess and buffy the vampire slayer so this was right up my alley

Seize This Book!
Kenyon's Dark Hunter world grows bigger and hotter with each installment. You can't go wrong with any of her books, and on audio they are even more sexy with the character's accents done with professional narration. Readers are swept into this fantastical world. *Important to read this series in order*
