From the moment vampire bounty-hunter Rex Serano meets sexy shifter Margery, he's smitten. When the alpha of the Kincaid pack asks him to join with them, he's stunned by the offer, but the real draw is the beautiful, caring female who seems to want nothing to do with him.
Margery is the driving maternal force for her pack and she has one rule: she doesn't date vampires. Years ago she was nearly killed by rogue vamps and she has no interest in getting involved with one now. No matter how sexy a certain, persistent bounty hunter might be.
When one of Rex's hunts gets messy, Margery gets caught in the crossfire and he'll do whatever it takes to protect her. They might be different species but the mating call is undeniable and too strong to ignore. Now they must find a way to reach common ground and trust their instincts if they're going to fight for a future together.

I like all the short stories. I also like the narrator, but his tone makes all the books seem the same. Maybe two narrators Jeffrey Kafer and a Female would have made them more exciting. I love werewolves, and vampires so my interest held.
Saving His Mate part of the Crescent Moon series by Savannah Stuart and was a good, quick listen. The plot and action in the novella were well written. For a novella the characters were fairly well developed. I was able to listen to this story in a couple hours' time. I started at the gym while working out (it made the time on the elliptical fly by). I was able to finish listening to this in two trips to the gym. This story features Rex, a vampire bounty hunter and Margery a wolf shifter. Rex has been a loner for a long time but is offered a position in the wolf pack by Grant the Alpha. Margery has some vampire issues. The author did a good job with the interaction between Rex and Margery and showing how they overcome their differences. This is some heat to this story so listening beware. This novella can be treated as a stand-alone but listening to the other stories in the series will give you a better understanding of the dynamics and diversity of Grant's pack. Jeffrey Kafer does a good job with the narration. There were no noticeable errors or breaks in the narration.
Book & History Enthusiast
What is the point of this story besides two supernaturals hooking up? There's no drama, conflict, or problem to overcome to make you care about these characters. I found myself thinking " what am I missing?" I hate writing bad reviews but I really cannot in good conscience recommend this book. The only good thing about it was the narrator, his voice was very pleasant.
Sr Exec-High travel & no time to read. Love UF PNR with strong character develpoment & supernaturals living among us. own nearly 900 titles
Entirely too short. Enjoyed the relationship but the danger was too safe. Tension never built enough to make it interesting.
Yes, I would listen to this book again. The narrator and the story was great, very easy to listen to.
I love the interaction between Rex and Margery.
Great Shifter Romance
I am a huge fan of this author and enjoyed reading this book as much as listening to it. I highly recommend this book.
I love paranormal books so that in itself and the enjoyment I had from the characters is perfect for me. I love this series and how different shifters find their mate, claim them and the action within the story is always an added bonus because this series is much more than just finding love.
I enjoyed both Rex and Margery but I was very excited to get Rex's story since I've been wanting more of him since he stepped into to series.
I enjoyed the whole audible and every scene.
This is definitely the type of audio you can listen to in one sitting. If you love paranormal, once you start this one you will not want to stop it.
I am Tammy Payne. I am an avid book reader and I also have a book blog :)
Yes I would . I enjoyed the book so much and to hear it in audio was absolutely hilarious and it brought the story to life for me
When Rex realized he has a mate who is not a vampire
Jeffrey Kafer does a fantastic job and brought this story to life.
When Marjorie finally tells Rex her issue with vampires
