One of seven daughters in a line of extraordinary women, stunning Hannah Drake has been the elusive object of affection for Sheriff Jonas Harrington for as long as he can remember. If only she was driven by a passion other than her career.
But Jonas isn't the only one with desires for Hannah. From the shadows has emerged a vengeful figure who stalks the beauty, intending to destroy her. Can her sisters’ special powers keep her from harm, and will Jonas catch the elusive assailant?
Spend some more time with the Drake Sisters.

"This winning series entry is sure to please devotees and shouldn't provide much difficulty for curious newbies." (Publishers Weekly)
This is my favorite of the Drake Sisters books, followed by Joley's story. This is another author who creates a world (and town) I would love to live in. Sea Haven is so perfect, where everyone looks out for everyone else and what a great law enforcement team, Jonas and Jackson, WOW!! I love Jonas and Hannah and that Jonas loves her NO MATTER WHAT!! Great love story without being too corny. Alyssa Bresnahan was, in my opinion, the perfect choice for the narrator as well. Thank you Ms. Feehan for bringing us another winner and thank you Audible for having her books!!
This was a wonderful book, and I am glad that this one finally came out and is sold by Audible! The narrator did an excellent job with emotions, and the voices remain true throughout the series.
I was so happy to see this. Although I read the book I've been looking for the audio and finally it's here. Yeah
I love the Drake Sisters books. I know the drama of the attack and how it affected Hannah was so important. I just thought that how she was dealing was important but was drawn out way too long as far as her internal turmoil. I got kind of tired of reading some of her feelings of her looks and self loathing and guilt over everything and wanted to skip a bit.
I loved some of the twists and extra plots, they made a big difference. I know the character of Hannah is basically that of a person who is not really happy with herself, her life, and is irritated when others are so forceful of their desire to make her do what they think is best for her. But even that was kind of overdone.
Overall, the story was great as well as the narration.
Hanna, because she was so endearing to me.
I always love feehan's books, but after i startet with audiobooks, they just became that much better. the reader gives the characters a whole new life for me. i will be buying more thats for sure
Believer in what you can't see
No, it is not better, but it is just as good. The story is fast pass and exciting; it is violence and loving, but most of all it is about how a family filled with magical women stay together and love each other.
To all the books in the Drake sister novels. Even though each story and sister is different, it is their love of each other, their love of their lovers and their magic that makes this series. Also the community of Sea Haven adds to the stories.
Joley is my absolute favorite, she is strong on the outside and soft on the inside, but she won;t back down for anyone. ilia is the perfect match for her.
Home is where her heart lies.
Love this series
I would absolutely recommend this audiobook to a friend (the whole Drake Sisters series as well as Sisters of the Heart series.) In fact, I recommended this series to two friends. One loved them as much as I did and one will begin with book one very soon.
All seven Drake Sisters books are great. Yes, there are seven. They are not numbered clearly. The Twilight Before Christmas is actually book #2.
I read the last book in this series first (Hidden Currents) because it did not say it was the last (7th). It was so good I went back and listened to all the previous books. I'm glad I did because all of this series is fantastic. Alyssa Bresnahan's performance was superb. She made the books come to life. I was glad she narrated all of this series. The Sisters of the Heart series that is related to this series had a different narrator and although I got used to him, Alyssa was by far the best in my opinion.
I would have loved to listen to the book in one sitting but work gets in the way.
This series is a wonderful mix of romance and suspense. I just loved the whole series and can't wait until a new book comes out.
I loved the development of the story and the characters ability to cope with adversity
the putting of a strong, dominating man in his place with no fuss or drama, just listen and ignore. very funny
Yes. Have already listened to it 3 more times
JONAS. He is always exasperated and does not seem to have a clue. Then you realize he does know what is going on.
Yes. I really like her. I wish she had done Waterbound. Her voice allows you to get wrapped up in the story.
