Is a real man too hot for a pampered diva to handle?

For Kaitlyn Strong, life has been a fun-filled free ride, all expenses paid by her wealthy father. As for relationships, why would Kaitlyn want to give up the fabulous single life? But after she goes on her most outrageous spending bender yet, she's informed it's time to make her own way. For a shocked Kaitlyn, that means getting a job - and an affordable apartment to go with it.

Hard-working single father Quinton "Quint" Wells is proud of his job looking after a small apartment building. But he's never met a demanding diva like his new tenant, Kaitlyn. Yet despite their verbal clashes, there's a sizzling attraction between them. And there's a budding friendship between Kaitlyn and Quint's teen daughter, who needs a woman in her life. Quint needs a woman in his life too, and as the red hot desire between him and Kaitlyn builds, the only choice left is to surrender....

I have grown to like Shari's narration and this series so this was a good continuation for me. I really liked the leading male character and the female lead, while irritatingly immature at times- grew on me also after she came into her own and grew up a bit. Overall a good family dynamic type of book with some HOT grownup scenes!

Good series continuation...

I really enjoyed this book!!!

Yes that's right it's a serial, but this book could easily be considered a stand alone. The story unfolds in the typical fashion, the daughter Kaitlyn is spoiled, spends the family money like pouring rain, and she has no insight there's a problem with her entire personality. She definitely needs a wake up call!!!

I pick most my books by the narrators & Shari Peele does not disappoint. She brings each character life, and by the time the story is done, you will either love heroine or hate her. I am encouraged to read the entire serial of the Strong Family. I want to know what up with Kaitlyn's kin.

Omg this book is on sizzle!!!!

What did you love best about Red Hot?

I loved the struggle and passion between the two main characters. I also enjoyed the transformation Cat and Quinton under went individually as well as together.

If you’ve listened to books by Niobia Bryant before, how does this one compare?

All of the books I have read by Ms. Bryant generally follow the same vain. Family is the common thread in must of her story. How a person or persons in brought, what the went through and all the endured to make them the person or persons they have becoming. Not always good not always bad but life real life a true mixture.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Quinton showed up at her office trying to see her new boss and then finally surrenders and asks her out.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several mostly relating to the moments both characters have to come to some real and sometimes hard truths about themselves.

Any additional comments?

This was a good book overall, but it had some slow moments I thought I might not be able to bare but then it would move on. Those were places I think could have been removed and nothing at all would have been taken away from the storyline. It was as if fillers were left in just to stretch the story out.

Overall Good
