4 Puck ME Star’s

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed this book. It was light, very humorous, and HELLO Canadian’s!! I didn’t find it a deep read. It was surface and fun and flirty just the right kind of book to read in between those dark and twisty reads.

Being as I am Canadian, I loved the narrators BOTH of them. It wasn’t to hooky. But if I say eh like that someone smack me lol. Just kidding.. not really

I loved Violets wit, lord have mercy she cracked me up. And all the beaver talk. Gosh that was funny. I will never think of “jilling it” without thinking of her I swear to god.
I very much enjoyed the brother, sister relationship between Buck and Violet. Even with the STEP, in there it was very much like they had grown up together made for good dynamic.

Alex oh what to say about this fella that Violet hasn’t already said… esp about The MC..
I do like how things went down with him mom. And even after all the “other stuff” how he makes it right.
I also LOVED that he was a figure skater, and not just for a little bit of time but for a long time. That was really neat. I don’t’ know why I liked it I just did. |

In the audio… I cracked up the most about 13 mins till the end so much I had tears from laughing so hard. I won’t give anything away just that was FUNNNY… yes it need more N’s ;)

enjoyable sports love story

I loved this book. It had the love story, hockey, and it had comedy. The narrators were perfect.
I would definitely recommend this book.

Puck bunnies your number has just been called out

This story was great. Helena has a way of telling a story. This story hits all the insecurities that hockey girlfriends and wives have to endure. Violet and Alex’s story is easily relatable and is such an emotional roller coaster. Excellent plot. Great characters and a real page turner leaves the reader wanting more! Trust me you will totally want to get PUCKED

Horrible Narration

Y'all were not joking about the male narrator's horrible accents! I'm not sure what he was trying to sound like but it was so distracting. It's like Wisconsin and Irish at the same time. The story is cute, but I couldn't stop laughing.

Pretty good, but a little adolescent.

This story was fun and sexy with plenty of steamy scenes. Author did a great job giving the main character a good sense of humor. Narration was great for both the female and male characters.

My only complaint is that the author wrote the main character to be on the adolescent side....On one hand she is a college grad working in a professional job but then talks like a high schooler in some passages. It made me cringe every time (and it was WAY TOO OFTEN) she used the phrase “jilling off”. Maybe I’m just out of the demographic here, but do woman really say that?!?

Ugh...Bad Male Narrator Ruined Book

Loved the performance until the first chapter with the male narrator. Even without the bizarre accent he sounded like the voiceover for a nature program, NOT a hockey player. Honestly, 5 minutes into that chapter I had to turn it off. I’ll pick up the book on kindle, because I do like the writing.

Worthwhile & steamy read

Aside from a smoking gun sexual act that is thrice alluded to, but never actually comes to fruition between the story’s protagonists, this was a pretty good story as well as steamy. Thoroughly enjoyed this and will be listening to the rest of the series.

Both narrators did a great job!

After reading a few reviews I was nervous to listen to the male narrator. I don't know what the problem is, I thought he did a great job. Don't let those reviews deter you from listening to the book.
