One of her best

I enjoyed this book more than most of hers. Sometimes the "accent" of the narrator was a bit hard to take, but not enough to make me dislike the book.

way too much unnecessary information!

I love how she writes, but good grief this story dragged and dragged and went wandering all over the place. the heroin went through a ridiculous number of hurdles. I didn't like the male love interest, not even when they FINALLY got around to dealing with him. too much drugs, horrible fat shaming at one point, and just no focus.

Loved it! Sad it’s over

Loved the story! I loved the characters you were supposed to loved and hated the ones that should be hated! The narrator was great and I was able to keep the characters in check. I figured out something early in the book because of the narrator that I’m thinking I wouldn’t have figured out if I had read it myself. I did love the book though.

Nice listen.

Not your typical mystery romance. It took me a little while to distinguish between the voices to understand who was speaking. Many sounded alike. Liked the general story.

Ms. Roberts' best yet!

I've read dozens of Nora Roberts' books and loved them all. But with this lengthy 2-generation story, I believe she's actually outdone herself. Maybe it's because I'm a child of the 60's, but it was so easy to relate to, to sink into, to soar through to the end wishing I had just begun. Kudos!

I have listened to many Nora Robert stories. This was my favorite so far! This would make a Great movie....or mini-series.

Excellent narration of a terrifically complex novel

Nora Roberts is one of the Most talented and insightful contemporary thriller writers. Nevertheless, like many non-Christian authors, her creativity seems to not extend to expressing her characters’ strong feelings except by their spewing “Christ,” “Jesus,” and “God” as curses: quintessential traitor-trash vulgarity.

Love it!

Such a wonderful novel. The story line and characters were great. I really enjoyed one of my favorites.
