Publisher's summary

"I contribute plenty! Is it my fault you never listen to me?"

Katie and John Duncan are enjoying, well - attempting to enjoy a quiet, long week in Edinburgh, Scotland together. During a day tour to Glasgow, they visit a medieval museum on a whim - something Katie is not so excited about. As John falls in love with the medieval displays, Katie can't help but notice a strange, squirmy little man seemingly following her.

"Can I help you?"

The squirmish man - startled, looks up at Katie. "I am Dr. Oscar Wellesley." He introduces himself and invites both Katie and John into a vault in the basement, to pick out a love story, which describes two ancient Picts - a startling resemblance in looks to both Katie and John. They were involved in fighting off the Romans and, according to the story, were key to the withdrawal of the Romans from Southern Scotland.

"What the hell."

As the two are shocked by what they read in the book, they find themselves losing grip on reality. As they come back to consciousness, there is no museum, no vault - just mud, grass and an ancient battlefield.

During this time and era, Katie and John discover their true past and begin to realize who they are and what they have become. What happens to Katie and John as they make their way through time? Will they ever make it back to present day? Do they find the love which had once bonded the two together? Find out in this heartwarming Scottish historical time travel romance.

oops

neither the narrator or the the editor picked up on his repetitive mistake of saying 2010 AD instead of 210 AD. interesting premise not much depth or character development..not much romance really but the heroine as a warrior is probably a turnon for some...glad it was free and I do appreciate the author's effort.

Great wee story and funny too.

I enjoyed this book. Easy listen and made my laugh a few times. Wish it was a bit longer.

Narrarator reads too rapidly

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

the reading was much too fast throughout the whole book. It was hard to keep up just listening to it.

Would you recommend Passage Through Time to your friends? Why or why not?

No, I wouldn't. The story was interesting but had too many holes for me.

Would you be willing to try another one of Kevin Theis’s performances?

I don't think so

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Passage Through Time?

I wouldn't have cut anything, but more effort could have been made to lay the storyline out.

Any additional comments?

The reader's inflections were good, but he was reading at twice the pace needed to visualize what is being said.

Horrible book and narration..

When am I ever going to learn NOT to read a time travel novella?

This was just awful so I WILL NOT be moving on to the next story. I don't think this author was really uninterested in writing a novella worth a da*n. He was only interested in writing a little story and getting it published as quickly as possible. And why the heck would you want to write about 210 AD?

Anyway, it wasn't worth it, even if it were free with KU. No idea what anyone looked like except for Kate having red hair. That's it.

As to the narration: It was absolutely horrible. Kevin Theis read like he was in a race and every single female sounded just like a man. And he read like a robot on speed. I would never listen to him again.

I couldn't stand it

By the second chapter I knew this was a waste of time and $$. It has nothing to redeem it.

Not a fan, seemed hastily written

Struggled to finish. Most of the story felt disconnected, and plot seemed like an afterthought.
