Background noise??
I have 10 hours left. I’ve enjoyed the story, it’s fine, and the narrator did a good job. The book is pretty spicy. But I feel like I’m going insane. I can constantly hear coughing and talking faintly in the background and it’s so distracting! Am I going crazy? Has no one else heard this?

perfection!
I've read all the books and watched the series....both are a masterpiece. the narrator makes me never want the story to end. every one should listen/read this series. it has something for everyone.

If you don’t love this book, you’re the problem.
This book and the entire series that follows contains a cast of the most fully developed characters, riveting action and suspense, a beautiful love story, and intellectually captivating yet accurate historical context.
Yes there’s sex. a lot of it. There’s deviance too. It’s critical to the story and the progression of the characters. These aspects are incredibly, powerfully written. If any of that bothers you, you are the one who should seek other material.
Outlander is a masterpiece and I have never read it’s equal. If it’s new to you and you’re not a pearl clutching reader, buy this book.

Old Friends
I have lost count of how many time I have listened to this series. I read most of them with my eyes first, but I spend a lot of time driving, so listening is easier. The characters are like old friends, and foes, and I have some favorite quotes and side stories. If I hazard a guess, I would say I’m on my 12th trip through the stones. It really does not get old.

Long but good
Riveting for the most part. I was not fond of the end but I was really amazed as to how well this author melded the past with the present. It left a couple of unanswered question, ie, they name Alex… a brother rather than true knowledge of the hero’s name? Why was the wedding ring still there? What About the third brother? Sigh
I have a feeling if I went back in time- with or without the horrors she went through- I would Not do so well.
