Outstanding
In fifteen words, I cannot believe how well the tv series (at least the first season) was adapted from this material. This is one of the few times after watching the visual adaptation first before reading the book that I felt both were equal to the excellence of the other.

I've read all the books and watched the series....both are a masterpiece. the narrator makes me never want the story to end. every one should listen/read this series. it has something for everyone.

Background noise??
I have 10 hours left. I’ve enjoyed the story, it’s fine, and the narrator did a good job. The book is pretty spicy. But I feel like I’m going insane. I can constantly hear coughing and talking faintly in the background and it’s so distracting! Am I going crazy? Has no one else heard this?

Such a great love story!
The narrator was exceptionally skilled with her voice types per person and not making the male voices sound silly. The story was vivid, compelling, terrifying and lovely throughout. I love this audio book!

Better than the show!
Way better than the show. Book 1 aligns to season 1 but there are so many more details and journeys than they could fit in the show. I imagine parts would have been hard to read with the Gaelic & Gaelic/English Hybrid
