Long listen but good
Really wishing there was an abridged version. Committing 25 hours to listening took weeks. Good captivating story, interesting storyline I'm looking forward to wear it goes

beyond expectations
i have never been a person to bother myself with reviews until i listened to this book. it was spectacular. i loved every second of it.
davina porter was mesmerising in her recount of the tail. the story a credit to the author. I along with Clair fell in love with her Jamie. simply it was a beautiful story.

love it!
I loved the book. I watched the show and wanted to know how the book was in comparison. I love the ending in the book better but felt the show made me feel more torn between the love she had for Frank and the new love for Jamie. overall wonderful!

THE audio book for new listeners!
What did you love best about Outlander?
This was my first audio book. I chose it based on the many reviews I researched for first time listeners. I am very thankful for the reviews as this is one of the best stories I have listened to. I am not very thankful as I can not find a narrator as good as this. Thank goodness there are so many books in the series to keep me busy for a while. (Am currently on book 3 and my opinion remains the same) My love of the story is even more improved now that starting with book 3 it is available for Kindle whisper sync for voice. I can now read the story when I am not in my car. Bonus, Bonus, Bonus. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Story, wonderful! Narration, incredible!
If you could sum up Outlander in three words, what would they be?
Enthralling, thrilling, romantic
What other book might you compare Outlander to and why?
It reminds me of the series by Connie Wills, which begins with "Blackout". The way these authors address time travel and create these endearing characters just leaves the reader wanting to read everything they wrote.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Davina Porter brings these characters to life like no other I have heard. The men are obviously men and the women are obviously women, not merely because of pitch, but because of the mannerisms she gives them. Each character can be identified without question before the reader is officially told who is speaking. She switches between Scottish and English accents with enviable skill. She is spellbinding. She is the only factor that could improve this wonderful story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
This one covers every genre! There is sex, war, sci-fi, history, something for everyone!
