Give me another 100 miles to drive
I was a little hesitate about getting this book because of other reviews. .The book started a little slow but that's with most books
As a truck driver this is when I wish I had another 100 plus miles to drive because I didn't want to stop with the book

Love this Scottish yarn

Outlander is a great introduction to this series!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys historical romantic fiction.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the concept that standing stone circles could be a conduit to another time. I found Claire's story of grappling with the differences between the 20th century and 18th century cultures as well as general way of life very engaging. Jamie is a larger than life character and quite easy to fall in love with. I could wish Jamie's torture scenes weren't so graphic, but they do serve to illicit sympathy for both Jamie and Claire.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Davina Porter's narration is fantastic and one of the best aspects to this audio book, especially her Scottish accents.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A sweeping drama that asks if we had a chance to change history, could we and should we?

Loved the accents
Would you listen to Outlander again? Why?
No, but only because it was so long. I really enjoyed it.
Who was your favorite character and why?
favorite character was Jamie, of course. How could you not love this sensitive, strong, stubborn, and great lover.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
THe accents were the best part of the book. When I listened I completely forgot that it was one woman reading. She did a fantastic job
