Meh
Not that the narrator didn't perform well, but I can't get past her voice for Claire. She sounds much older and matronly, it's hard to imagine her as the character, which ruins it a bit for me since it's from Claire's point of view.

Most creative historic novel.
I discovered the Outlander series on Starz and had to get the books. A very creative storyline, exquisite narration performance, coupled with beautiful descriptive writing that puts the reader in the midst of all the action! Looking forward to the rest of the series of books!

A must read/listen
A beautifully written book, rich with detail of Scotland in both the 18th and 20th centuries. I am eager to begin the next book in the series.
Davina Porter's reading was artfully done. She does a beautiful job of transitioning from one character to the next.
