Once you listen to this you will be ruined for any other Outlander mediums
I’ve loved the Outlander series for some time now. However, Davina Porter’s narration is so good that she’s ruined the series on Starz for me because the characters don’t SOUND right, not to mention licenses taken with the story. Diana plus Davina equals Divine.

Simply lovely
I did not enjoy this book when I read it. The descriptions were too dry and I just couldn't keep my focus. The narrator here does a fantastic job of bringing the story to life! What was dry in print became engrossing and enthralling in narration. Enjoyed this very much!!

Love the book. Love the narration.
There are already so many thorough reviews but just want to confirm that this narrator is one of my favorite. Her voice is soothing and easy to listen ton and her voices for the different characters are spot on, and consistent, helping bring the book to life in my mind. Thank you!

I absolutely love it but...and it’s a big but
There came a point about five to six hours from the end where I felt the author ‘jumped the shark’ so to speak and I had to stop listening for a day or so before I could get back into it. You’ll know the place when you get to it, just keep going, the end is worth the trouble.

Great Book
I loved this reading. Only bad point is hearing other voices in the background. At times it is rather loud & distracting. Other than that, I truly enjoyed this book & look forward to the next in the series.
