A great series! Thank goodness I found it!!
What did you love best about Outlander?
There's something here for everyone; time travel; history; romance; adventure and mystery! Aside from all of that it is well written with characters you will fall in love with.
What did you like best about this story?
The twists and turns that intertwine Gabaldon's characters with historical figures. Her take on early medical treatments is facinating too. This book just has SO much heart, brought to life via terrific and fully drawn characters.
What about Davina Porter’s performance did you like?
I loved Davina Porter's performance. I generally read and listen to a book, however, listening to this book has added a great deal to the story. Trying to read a foriegn language that you're unfamilliar with is tough, but hearing the Gaelic in this book so beautifully spoken is like listening to music.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
History that will make you believe in destiny...

I listened and read this entire series of seven books (each book around 1300 pages) over the course of the summer, while attending college 1/2 time (lots of reading for my English Major too) and working full-time and now I am LOST without these people who have been a part of my every day for months now...so I began again! =) Truly great books.

Outstanding series!!!!!
The entire Outlander series is definitely my favorite series on audible. Davina Porter is amazing - combined with the Gabaldon's fantastic writing and enthralling tales, Davina Porter's voice tops it off! You are pulled into the 18th century Scottish Highlands; living among the tantalizing characters and history!!!
A must listen!
