Love, Love, Love this "listen"
Where does Outlander rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This story is among the top audiobooks I've listened to so far. I just stated audiobooks within the last year and I thourghly enjoy them to pass the time. This is one of my favorites so far.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Outlander?
There is an intensity to the story as a whole that draws you and keeps you held the entire time. You can't wait to see what happens next and how Claire and Jaime's relationship changes and blossoms.
Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not heard this narrorators performance before but was really impressed by her distinction in the characters. It is not easy to create all those separate characters and to keep them straight without having start to sound alike, but she did incredibly.
Any additional comments?
From start to finish I enjoyed this book immensely and will definitely relisten to this story. Instant Classic :-)

Books are always better than the show.
Where does Outlander rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I positively loved this book, I knew nothing of the outlander series. Only that a few of my facebook friends were positively obsessed with it. For a while, I was curious how the storyline could last 30 hours, but it does, and its amazing.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Claire, she's lined up to be a favorite being a main character and all. I can relate to her with her headstrong and stubborn attitude. I enjoyed how she brought "modern" medicine in to help the people around her. However if picking a non-main character, I would have to say Murtaugh, because its always fun when the burly, intimidating folks have the soft side.
What about Davina Porter’s performance did you like?
Davina Porter can preform both genders equally well, its always nice when I don't have to second guess if that male part is actually a male due to the womanly voice.
Also, the gaelic and scottish terms and phrases. I mean, DANG! I can't imagine what that looks like on paper, if I was reading the book in hand, I would likely just glaze right over it and continue on, missing the whole point.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would love to, I patiently await when I get another credit to buy the other parts of the series. Its perfect for those who travel a lot as I do.

The he soft core port was way to much. I purchased this series on sale and the overall story is great, but I really don't need to hear about every newlywed sex encounter.

Amazing narration!
If you could sum up Outlander in three words, what would they be?
Engrossing. Fascinating. Captivating.
Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Just the Outlander series, but I'm amazed by her skill. She bugged me when I first began listening, but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. She has created both the female and male characters so visually for me with her wonderful narration.
Any additional comments?
It's an addicting series. I read them when they first came out, but that was a long time ago, so it feels fresh and new to me. I can waste a LOT of time listening to these books!
