Critic reviews

"Davina Porter maintains the distinct voices she creates for each character throughout the lengthy narration. Her delivery of 18th-century language sounds authentic and is easily understandable." (AudioFile)

Totally addictive- amazing talent

These books are marathons and totally worth every minute. Escapism at it's finest- gorgeous scenery, heart-breaking story lines, epic romance, sexy Scots in kilts-- the whole package.

Too brutal!

Ms. Gabaldon seems homophobic. Jack Randal is the most vile creature. She could have softened him a bi.

Wonderful & Engaging

This has to be one of my favorite books now, and the narrator was AMAZING. The book is long, but kept me rapt the entire way through, while still being a relaxing listen. Can't wait to get the others!

V good overall

The lead character annoyed me a bit but overall I enjoyed the story. The sound quality wasn't the best as I could hear quiet background noise throughout.
