Spanning generations and every imaginable emotion, One Pink Line reveals how two points of view can be dramatically at odds. Simultaneously deeply felt and lighthearted, it deftly mines how the choices we make can alter so many lives, and how doing the right thing can bring unexpected, hard-won happiness. It’s a must-listen for anyone who relishes a great love story, absorbing characters, and plenty of laughs along the way.

    "Sweet Surprise...Love this book"
Would you consider the audio edition of One Pink Line to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version.

What other book might you compare One Pink Line to and why?

Not sure I have a comparison to this one, but I loved it.

What about Amy McFadden and Cristina Panfilio ’s performance did you like?

Both were great....the narrator of Sidney was amazing and annimated but both were great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried in this book which is the best way to read. I loved how they switched between narrators.

    Any additional comments?

Great book!!! I bought it on a sale but would not have been disappointed had I paid full price. Great Book!!

    "Love of family"

I LOVED this one. Wow. A really good story. Great narration!

This book was not a romance but a story about love and family.

High School senior Grace just had health class and they got to the Sex Education portion. They learned about conception and Grace got really confused. How is it that she was 2 years old and remembers her parent's wedding, if people were supposed to be married first? Also, she now realizes that she has different features from her dad, so much that she freaks out and the school nurse calls her mom.

Her mother Sydney has to tell Grace the story of how their family became a family and how her dad became her dad.

This story is told both from Sydney's perspective and Grace's perspective. It involves flashbacks too but it wasn't confusing at all, and it all ties in together nicely. Great story telling.

"Won't Find This on LaLeche League's Top 10 List"

This book served it's purpose. A quick cheap read to get me through to a pre-order. You won't have to invest much thought or consideration, for the author didn't go to there either. It's depthless writing revolving a superficial woman that move from one drama to the next. I have a hard time believing this is based on an actual story.

It's not a bad book - The author just didnt invest in the effort to make it great. The characters were all a very beige vanilla. The great love - Ethan for Sidney was never given justice. Every single mother in this book would NOT have acted in the manner written.

    "Very Clever Story"
    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this book, I thought the author was very clever in weaving the story lines together. It was also interesting to hear the story from two different points of view, the mother who decided to keep her child, and a child who later finds out that her "real" father is not her biological father. The dialogue was very real and made me laugh out loud many times. The narrators both did a great job.

    "Sweet and Simple Story"

Sweet and simple story, easy quick listen. A little confusing when she jumped back in time the first time. There was no Segway and thought I had missed a whole chapter. Overall it was an enjoyable read.

    "Entertaining Story"
What made the experience of listening to One Pink Line the most enjoyable?

Drew me in. Kept me engaged and well entertained during my commute time. Loved the way the two viewpoints were parallel, then brought together.

    "Did not disappoint-great listen!!"
What did you love best about One Pink Line?

I loved this book! First, the performance was great and the narrators did a fabulous job with animation. I never once got bored and I did not want the story to end! It's a sweet story with a few twists and surprises but in the best way! It switches from two characters points of views multiple times but not once did I get confused.

What was one of the most memorable moments of One Pink Line?

I don't want to spoil anything but the realization of who Grace's father and then biological dad are. Not what I expected when I started the book.

Have you listened to any of Amy McFadden and Cristina Panfilio ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I LOVED it!! I'm not much of a cryer during audio books but it's not a sad book either. Definitely lots of laughs and happy thoughts though!

    Any additional comments?

Listen to this book! If it sounds even remotely interesting, it won't disappoint.

What did you love best about One Pink Line?

This is a great story and so real. I could put myself into the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of One Pink Line?

    There was one pink line.

Which character – as performed by Amy McFadden and Cristina Panfilio – was your favorite?

I don't think I can pick one. They are both so great.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she had to ask about her Father.

    "Totally unrealistic and promotes irresponsibility"
What disappointed you about One Pink Line?

I was dissapointed in the author's casual treatment of the use of drugs, alcohol and hook-up sex. The plot promotes shallow morals with little consequence for irresponsible behaviors. A high school /college student making the choices Sidney did would rarely have such a "happy ever after" ending. Even the difficulties she experienced were not well developed and were quickly resolved. The only reason I chose to continue listening was to see if the story line became more realistic. It did not. I guess you get what you pay for when you buy an audio book for $3.95.

Would you ever listen to anything by Dina Silver again?

    No.

What aspect of Amy McFadden and Cristina Panfilio ’s performance would you have changed?

The audio performance was not a problem.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from One Pink Line?

Too many problems with the story to even suggest changes.

    Any additional comments?

It is sad to see that this type of novel gets published.
